Interesting. I'll have to let you know where we wind up going. I struggle to think it'll actually be "bad" wherever we go. While I was google-searching, I found a comment about Giaccamo's that there's always a line, but the poster wasn't sure why b/c the food is mediocre at best. I suppose it's to each their own. Also of note is that my LOR writer graduated med school over 10 years ago, so his information could be outdated.

Ah, I can explain the line. It's b/c they don't take reservations. Most all of the other north end restaurants do.

Hey penguin. Verdict was that they were appropriate shocks and basically the device was doing what it was supposed to. I had colleagues cover me yesterday and thank goodness I have today off. Tomorrow is my first day of senior call. :scared:

hahaha having seen your pic from facebook and myspace, I have to say you'd pull that one off nicely.

The big day for Book 7 is coming up next weekend. I bet all the book stores are going to be jam packed everywhere.

I wanted to mention to you earlier that its cute. Everytime I see your PB&J avatars I think of that song that my bro and his exroommate (a soon to be M2 at USF) used to sing. It went something like this:

Had a horrible day yesterday. Had to put my dog to sleep (14 years old with cancer) and my daughter ended up in the ER with a psycho crazy mean nurse who succeeded in making me feel like the worst parent to ever walk the earth.

What did you do?

I did 60 push-ups on Wednesday with my boxing coach, I was so sore, I was seriously wondering if my tendons were about to detach.:scared: Today's the first day that my elbows don't feel like they are on fire. But then tomorrow is boxing again, so the feeling won't last long.🙄

Sorry to hear Oxeye. My condolences to you in regards to you dog passing away. That must be tough.

And sorry to hear about the mean nurse. Boo to such nurses, but know you are one very good mother and we all know that on here. Don't let her get to you. She probably is just miserable and sucks at life.

i did like 30 pull ups yesterday and I'm paying for it today 🙁

60 push ups 😱 that is ALOT

At least you can DO a pull-up. I can't do any.:laugh:

Yeah, he's like, "trust me, it does get easier," but then every day he adds more and more of them, so it's not easier at all.:scared:

Aww...so sorry to hear about your day yesterday. I assume that's your dog in your avatar. It's so hard losing a pet, especially since you've had him/her around for so long. ***Hugs***

I hope your daughter is ok too. Don't let the nurse's attitude get to you.

I never learned the art of doing a proper pull up. I'm not super skinny but not really fat either, but I just don't tend to be good at those things.

Friends, I out-stupided myself today...I kept looking for my car/house keys, and couldn't find them anywhere - until I went outside and realized the house key was in my front door, with the car keys dangling from the same chain....and they were there since 11 PM last night!🙄 To top it off, my car's parked RIGHT outside and the keys have a huge Toyota symbol on it. I'm surprised that whoever put the junk mail flyers in my mailbox this morning didn't just pull those keys out of the lock and drive away in my nearly brand new car.🙄

The reason I said I out-stupided myself today is because last time I just left my front door wide open for the entire workday. However, at that time I did have my car keys with me. So I've progressed from very stupid to very-very stupid, apparently.🙄

Yeah this thread has been slow in the thread killing process. a lot of people seem to be on vacation or busy with other stuff. I've been bored since I returned from India. I wish i could go somewhere exciting.

She's doing much better. It was just a bad bladder infection but we were vacationing in Boondocks, California so the only option to treat her was the ER.
