Never tried a pumpkin pie martini, but I've been sampling some great pumpkin ales here of late....

Pumpkin ale and martinis sound friggin' awesome. I may try to hunt a punkin martini down this weekend.

trying to stay away from the EtOH for a while - my waistline is getting smaller!

i am the master of getting on holds

Ihaven't heard back from UMSOM either today... respond to my email dangit.

Made it home and relaxing. Got my flu shot and dropped off the thank you presents for shadowing (the GiantMICROBES H. pyloris).

:laugh: What's the use? Did we listen when every physician and medical student warned us to stay away? Nope. That's why I'm stuck here memorizing the relationship of all the vessels and nerves superior and inferior to the piriformis m. just hours before my exam. :scared:

i just got an email from tulane that i have been complete and now under review. geez everything got there in august and they're reviewing me now 🙄

so my grandfather gave us quite a scare today... his creatinine levels were 9+ and they wanted to admit him immediately so we rushed to the hospital assuming kidney failure. first they wanted to check the urostomy, so we went to radiology and they dyed it.. met a bit of resistance and then it starting pouring fluid. conclusion was a small blood clot blocking flow in the urostomy tube.. they sent him home to drink tons of fluids and were back to more labs in the am.. please cross your fingers that things are better!!

baby blayne is doing well.. her mommy gets to hold her hand now, she got milk today for the first time, and they did a cranial ultrasound and echo to check things out. found a small heart murmur (not surprising at 23 wks) but they aren't concerned.. she hasn't been allowed to cry or cough enough to probably close it up. other than that, all good news. she's made it almost a whole week!

For the second time, since some of Mush's posts got deleted and sent her numbers just PLUMMETING from 31K to 25K posts :laugh:...

(I know I've had better DJing moments- sorry- it was a long and not-fun day at the hospital)
