Well, I thought I would just mention it out in the open because the mystery drives many people nuts.

I am an Asian Indian, and I finished my undergrad recently, as I said that my graduation ceremony was in May 2005.

Currently, I am a non degree graduate student at some University.
Yeah,,, I took the August 2005 MCAT, and I have applied for 2006, and right now I am doing my secondary. That’s all I could tell ya!!!

So people have fun stalking me in Illinois and trying to find R in every Asian Indian girl. 😉 🙂

do you like living in chicago? i've never been there but would like to visit one day. maybe residency.... i'll try an away rotation there in a couple of years.

nice avatar by the way, i was in the hospital yesterday... god i cannot wait until 3rd year, sitting through lectures everyday is driving me nuts. after all those years in undergrad and now 2 more in med school, i'm sick of it and want to get out into the "real world" already.

because of YOU i bought seasons 1-3 on dvd last year, i had never really watched alias until then. you my friend got me hooked.

season 4 will be out soon, i'm gonna get that one too since i missed a bunch of episodes last year before i got tivo.

😳 Awww ... see Alias is so catchy! As we speak my little kitten is trying to type b/c she wants me to get season 1 and 3/4. Season 1 ... 1/2 of them coveted by an ex who never returned them 😎 And I never got 3 so I will have ot get. I haven't watched my seasons 2 yet either. I will have to start putting them in when I'm bored. I 😍 Alias!

Ok, now I must study. All afternoon I found things to do for the past 4 hrs instead of studying which I really need to do. I hate stress. 🙁

arsenic, do all the med students hang out together? like after a big exam or stuff like that, or is it pretty laid-back and everyone just hangs in their own group??

How do you know JustR is from Chitown and not a different Illinois city???????? I just mentioned Chitown cuz that is Indian country, especially Devon street (spp???)

people tend to form groups of close friends that you become tight with but there are parties and get togethers after EVERY exam where the whole school is invited. so if the class of 2009 meets at the beach to celebrate the end of their first exam, the whole school shows up, freshmen to seniors. there are A LOT of parties. hell, every time the freshmen finish something or the sophomores, or even when the 3rd and 4th years finish a rotation. :laugh:

its a benefit of all your classmates/friends being on the same schedule, there are a lot more social opportunities in med school than you would think as an undergrad. in between exams though people tend to be more serious but afterwards :meanie: ... "work hard, play hard."

Well, her b/f is live-in so it's not a huge surprise. I kind of figured they might end up as an old unmarried couple though. We'll see how it goes though, because my mom hasn't told him she wants a prenuprtual agreement yet. She wants it set up so that if either if them die their kid(s) inherit and not the leftover spouse. And, she said she isn't getting married until he sells his house and gets his daughter out of there. He wants to get married before December 31st so they can file taxes jointly. 🙄 Dork. Anyway, her b/f is a nice guy and I support whatever decision she makes. His kids are losers though. I may end up with crazy stepsisters. It's different when you don't live with your parent anymore. Her b/f is not a father figure to me, just her b/f.

Yeah Chicago is a cool place.
I never have been to Florida, so I don’t know how it is compare to that.
But one thing I could to tell you is that there are lots of buildings and nonliving things. If you a country/farm type of person, you would not be a big fan of Chicago. But hey, if you are an urban type person, then Chicago is way to go!!!

Yeah!! You guessed pretty close, Devon is two block south from my home.

Yeah!! Arsenic is right that he was not really stalking me, but it is just that it was that confusing, weird, and all over place talk about the weather and the thread. If I were him, I would have remembered, “R was windy like a windy city all over the MCAT confusing what I was talking about.” If you ever have time, check the page 38 and 39 I believe, it is full of confusion, and if you go back there, I am sure you won’t forget that it was Chicago.

no, my final exam isn't until monday 9/26. i've been slacking hard, really hard actually. i have a health fair this saturday from 9am-4pm but other than that i'll be at the library studying from now on until the 26th. which makes me feel a combination of: 😱 🙁 😳 😕 :scared: :scared: :idea:

over the next 12 days i'll try to spend just 1 hour on sdn...... 🙄 seriously though, i'm not gonna post again until i've made significant progress. :idea:

i must think kidney...... ah! but then i also think of class rank, matching and USMLE! 😱 someone hold me.

we've been in contact with her outside of SDN and have taken care of it. her account was placed on hold temporarily to stop the person that took over it from posting. the post hold will be taken off as soon as she tells us she's back.

even at 430 am 😱 Sleep is good. I hate exams. I'm so damn nervous right now :scared: not prepared enough and frustrated with lack of studying. I mean to but just have so many things going on. Bah. Good luck studying A! :luck: Stay off of SDN! 😡 *gives A a nice warm blanket and a pretty white jacket with belt straps 😀

Tell me about it!!!!!!!!! I have a Calculus 2 exam this Friday at 1pm.

I'm soooooooo nervous, and I am going to need my friend to tutor me cuz our teacher talks at lightnings speed and has a bad French accent on top of it. So it is hard to understand half of what he says or keep up with him. I went to see the tutors day before yesterday, and they didn't really seem too helpful, so I'm going to go to my friends place tonight and get her to help me.

BTW mushy,

I agree about what you said about sleep. Even if you only get 3 hours, make the most of it, cuz we need rest every once in a while.
