Ok, now you're making *me* feel bad for making *you* feel bad. 😛 I should hear something this week, though I may not if the committee uses the hurricane as an excuse to not meet. :meanie: I swear, hurricanes really cramp my style. First Charley postponed my MCAT for two weeks. Then Katrina closed the FL airports. And now Wilma might stop the adcom from meeting. At this rate, it's a miracle that I have made any progress with applying to med school at all. 🙄

At least, this year, we haven't been whiplashed with hurricane after hurricane after hurricane. Only 3 major hurricanes thus far, if you include the current one.

Last year, it was horrible, there was Charley, Ivan, and like 2 or 3 others if I recall that all came into Florida one after another.

Right now I feel like I will be happy just to get through interviews in one piece, but I am sure that once that is over I will freak out about rank lists and matching. :scared:

Yeah, March 16th, would make sense, since last year it was march 17th. I only know the date for last year, because my friend's sister was going through this last year. That friend's sis is now in residency.

I just had a midterm for a 10 credit class. That kind of blocked out everything else for awhile.

My roomate likes CSI alot. Do you notice that on all of those type of shows the suspect interviews and everything else under the sun are always conducted by the main characters whether or not it is something they would do in real life?

I hate abx. I absolutely do not get them at all. I have basically given up even trying and will just throw away those points on the boards.

I guess "hate" is the wrong word. It's more that I don't understand them, because I am too stupid and/or lazy to make the effort.

I do know that when I had pneumonia for two months last winter and I finally started taking them they fixed me up really quick. 🙄

Ah. Well, when you are working on Step 3, I'd be glad to try to work up some sort of less painful review for you. I'm not sure at what level they test you though.

it's been raining and freezing cold here for 5 days straight now--everyone is starting to get sick--it sit in my classes and everyone is coughing and stuff. We need sunlight!!!!!!

yes, its been cloudy and dull here in irvine for the last 3 days, and 65 degree weather, it sucks! i need the sun!!

What is with the weather these days? I live just north of new york state and it's been raining and miserable for the last 3 weeks, minus two or three days. I miss the sun!! 🙁

It was cold this morning (low 40's) when I drove to school and by afternoon it was in the mid 70's (nice and sunny).

You'll like the hot weather until humidity and nastiness of sweating whole day and feeling like you want to jump in the shower all the time get to you. Then you'll hate it.

Ideally, the best weather would be summers in the north and winters in the south. 😀 😀
