well, the really funny part (or sad part, however you look at it) was that i stopped playing it 4 yrs ago when i was a freshmen in college, yet i still remember all of that :laugh: :scared:

i dont think the quantity of schools matters as much as your sense of reassurance that you have a decent chance of getting accepted somewhere. anyways, i hope both of us get in somewhere this yr! :luck:

CONGRATS MUSHY!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh BTW, its not the first official SDN wedding. Actually, Chris and Hethera on rSDN, I believe met through SDN and got married. There've been other cases like that too.

Thanks! We were debating that. I found out they actually didn't really click until rSDN so technically this person was stating there hasn't been an offical SDN marriage. I told her she was getting too technical. :laugh:

This SUNDAY!! I'm so excited! Is that not the sadest thing ever? 😛

I also have to admit that I have had this huge crush on Alan Alda ever since I can remember, so secretly part of me is rooting for him. But you know Santos is going to win. Plus, Leo is just too cool. I thought it would be really cool if they had a public vote with the fans to decide who continues the show, but I doubt they will.

I played forever, I had a 93 Sorc (basic build, orb, meteor, thunderstorm), a 50 something Amazon on hardcore, a 85 weather girl sorc and a ranger build paladin - lvl 60 or something but it's a bad build and he got his butt kicked in hell so I gave up on him. I got bored because I had already done everything and stopped playing. Then my best friend told me about the new quest in v1.11 so I started building another sorc to try and run it with her. She's up to lvl 48 but I haven't played in like a week.

i didnt like gore in 2000, i would have voted for McCain if he had won the republican nomination, sucks. i wasnt sure what i was back then, now its pretty obvious to me that most of my views are liberal so an ass i am i guess. :laugh:

I'll have to check that out - but I haven't had much free time to read recently which sucks because I normally go through at least 1 book a week. 🙁 Stupid organic.

I cried the day McCain withdrew - I still hold out hope he'll run again and redeem the Republican party.

BTW, just because you have liberal views doesn't make you an @$$... oh wait, that's the democratic symbol! My bad!

i bought it to read over the christmas break but with hurricane wilma knocking out my power for 4 days and closing down my med school for a week i was able to read it recently

For some reason at my ugrad (Texas A&M) the power would go out on a regular basis. I have no idea why. But I have this vivid memory of my roommate going, "Well I can study in the dark, guess I'll play a video game." and going over to the computer and attempting to switch on her computer before going, "I'm such an idiot."

My point being, It's amazing what you can get done with no electricity to power distractions.

hey--there's a good psych book called "A General Theory of Love" it's written by 3 psychiatrists (Lewis, Amini, and Lannon). It's beautifully written--i thought it was interesting
