I do NOT want to go to school. I don't feel well 🙁 I think I'm just exhausted and because I didn't get much sleep last night my throat is flaring up again. Dude, why does it do this?

I have to go to school to hand in ochem and physics homework though. Its times like these when I REALLY hate the fact that my school is something like 75 miles away. /rant.

THanks guys, yeah I have allergies but never had been THIS bad. I think everything going on is exacerbating my allergies. I am on 2 benedryl and zyrtec right now. Not a damn difference. I am going to switch when I'm done my meds, but I have a ton of zyrtec. I'm so doped up adn exhausted.

I like conferences. I want an SDN conference!

:laugh: I have a Mage and Druid right now, working on a rogue. I hate hunters, you always make me run slow. Right now I am waiting to get in the next Warsong for some easy honor against some newb horde teams today haha..

So I traveled all this way to see my boyfriend. We went to lunch, and now he's ditched me in his dorm room because he HAD to go to class. WTF?! Should I be worried or just pissed I'm dating a chem/math major? 😡

Not going to OPM. Our checkbook can't afford it right now. I'd have to get a flight and hotel room and it would cost well over $500.

Just starting another night of baby deliverin'. I only got a few hours of sleep during the day because there was some MASSIVE URGENT EMERGENCY with some paperwork on the house I just bought that required me to IMMEDIATELY fax all this paperwork back. It was ridiciulous. But obviously I'm not going to risk losing this house! 😱

Then I threw up 5 times. I feel a little better now. I think it is just exhaustion and messing up my circadian rhythms. Tonight looks to be a slow night, which isn't great, because I will just get so sleepy. I took Reglan after I puked.

Not too much else is going on here. One week to go!!! 👍

I am completely done one week from right now!

My graduation is two weeks from right now!

My parents and my brother, his wife, and my niece are all coming to town for my graduation. I think it will be very special.

not all night 😳 I have to study for finals and get some sleep. I'm glad to hear you are taking care of things. Not glad to hear about ob/gyn and throwing up. Just think its ALMOST ALL OVER! NEVER EVER AGAIN will you have stupid clinicals 😉

There still may be babies, but none yet. Delivering babies is pretty fun, actually. Peds takes them immediately though. I would rather be doing something than just sitting here. This is time I could be studying but I am too tired to retain anything.

at the hospital i volunteer at, they play a lullaby over the loudspeaker whenever babies are born. it's so cute. *sigh* i bet delivering babies is fun--don't let anyone eat the placentas, ok?

I immediately cut up and study all placentas under the microscope before anybody gets a chance to eat them.

Since this is a tertiary care center I actually haven't seen many full-term healthy deliveries. They are either preterm or have other problems.

Placentas are cool. It seems like something may be happening around here. There was just a burst of frantic activity.

I have never seen frantic activity like a crash c-section though. That is nuts. Patient awake, fine in bed, within about three minutes out in the OR and baby out. It is unbelievable.

Not much. We just have to BE HERE all the time, and occasionally we see something. Doing something is rare. I actually am getting really frustrated right now because there is absolutely nothing going on but we are not allowed to lay down and rest/nap. Why? What's the worst is when they make you sit around for hours with nothing going on, "just in case," and then something happens and nobody tells you. 😡

Hmm... most of them. Though on other rotations it was easier to "escape" and go do something productive. Here we all just sit in the same little room all the time waiting for something to happen.

Don't get me wrong, sometimes we are busy and I have seen some cool things. But not enough to justify the time I spend here.
