I just have some random questions about filling out the AMCAS, wondering if anyone could help...

1. Is it weird to list an activity/experience that is still currently going on as one of my "most meaningful experiences"? It's a great summer program and I'm learning a lot from it but it's only halfway over...

2. Along those same lines, does it look bad to only have 2 "meaningful experiences" instead of the maximum three?

3. Is the application considered complete even if AMCAS hasn't received the official transcript yet? And, when ordering the transcript, can I use my school's normal online transcript ordering system but simply attach the AMCAS instructions to my request? Or do I have to personally email someone from the registrar's office?

4. At what point does polishing the application begin to have lesser priority than just getting the darn thing submitted already? I know people who are doing secondaries already and I'm wondering if it will seriously hurt my chances if I submit in mid-July

1. Listing something you've been doing for only 3 weeks as most meaningful is not taboo, but it dilutes the significance that the designation is supposed to have. Reminds people that you're a sniffly 21-year-old for whom every small itty bitty thing is ostensibly "life-changing." Would not recommend
2. No, quality over quantity. Make sure your writing makes it actually meaningful.
3. "Application complete" is something for schools to mark, nothing to do with AMCAS. AMCAS receives your transcripts and double checks all your classes and grades, then transmits to schools. Schools look for your AMCAS, secondary, LORs and other required materials to complete your application. The regular ordering system is fine, just put the address AMCAS says to send it to. For more about this stuff look up the AMCAS Instruction Manual PDF.
4. No, mid-July is still early
