What does my dog think he's doing???

Pretending to be a cat?

That's what my mom thinks too. He also likes to perch on the back of sofas and look out the windows...

I'm blaming it on him still being out of it from the anesthesia from his dental today but supposedly he's done this before...

I feel like we've had this conversation already ...but he reminds me of my dog! Similar looks, and mine also loves to perch along the back of the futon like a cat to watch the cars go by and the birds play

Hahaha, we did when I was looking at another dog earlier in the year. This guy is actually from the same rescue that other one was from but he got adopted before I got the chance to meet him. =( But all is good because I became obsessed with this guy immediately.

Just got a random 3 am text message from a guy I haven't talked to in 2 years. Basically, asking me if I wanted to get "naked and naughty with him sometime". Uhhhhh.

Well do you?! :naughty:

Nooooot really. Probably why I thought it was a little awkward, other than we haven't said one word to each other for nearly 2 years.

There's also this guy I haven't physically seen in 4 years, who keeps texting me the same damn message 1-2x a month. He's asked me out 3 times and all 3 times he flaked on me and now he keeps trying to get me to travel to his house to "spend the night".

I attract the good ones, it seems. 👎

(nothing wrong with a little random action, but I don't like being someone's second rate booty call. Especially, when they are drunk and I am not. I happen to know of a few other people they message as well, which doesn't help)

Oh yeah. Gross. I won't be someone's second option either. The wankers.

DVMD, you are mean

 +1

ick ick ick. I would freak the eff out if I ever figured that out.

Kinda like when I scratched my ear today and there was what looked like a bug leg on my finger......and I have this panic attack as I frantically get the rest of the bug out of my ear.

Bugs. :scared: I'm such a wuss when it comes to them.

Ok, I need some answers to this question:

What brand of backpack do you use? And do you like it?

My backpack that I have had since high school (yes, that is right, high school), I have decided needs to be replaced. It is still plenty functional, just has some scrapes and some fraying along the bottom, but now it smells like pig and farm, so I want a new backpack. My old one was a Jansport and I have thoroughly given that backpack a good run... it has been tossed around, beat up, taken on many planes, filled so full that it looked more like a round ball than a backpack and the thing is still going strong. So, I really need a bag that is going to last and not fall apart in a few weeks because I over-filled it or tossed it too much or whatever. I like backpacks with lots of pockets and it needs to be able to fit my laptop + a binder + maybe a notebook or two. As well as pockets for pens/pencils/highlighters/wallet, etc.

So need suggestions for good, strong backpacks. Thanks! 🙂

Little spendy, but well worth it. Eddie Bauer

I've gotten great use out of my Swissgear backpack. I've only had it three years, but it's survived constant use at school, camping and research field work, the jungles of Ecuador, being dragged around the Galapagos islands and on and off of boats, a fair amount of hiking, etc. As far as I can tell it is no worse for wear as of yet and still has plenty of life in it. I can fit my laptop and multiple textbooks and binders in it easily, and I think they make both bigger and smaller bags than the one I have depending on your preference.

I definitely feel you as my backpack I've been using is from middle school. I actually just got a new one a few months ago for my birthday. It is another LL Bean. Those hold up so well (and the new one I got was a gift, so I didn't even choose another LL Bean again myself). I would have anyway, so I highly recommend them.

I posted about it somewhere recently. I use a Dakine and I like it. Seems like everyone here has a Swiss Gear one, so it's nice to have a style and pattern that stand out.

I feel like this should be bolded. 👍 Wouldn't want backpacks to get mixed up and someone takes the wrong one home.

LLBean. holds up really well and comes with a lifetime/no questions asked warranty. (even it chewed by pets!). there are all different sizes and styles. mine is the quad pack or something like that and has tons of pockets and a padded laptop sleeve

That's easy to fix though. Swissgear backpacks are popular yeah, so I always kept some stuff (key chains, shoelaces, carabiner, etc) on my bag to make it stand out. Easy to find your own and unless someone else really isn't paying attention they won't grab yours either

I need a picture drawer for TP in the lounge to end it off.... you would need to be able to draw the pic today! And PM it in.

So let me know if you are interested. 🙂

I really need to go grocery shopping.. But I hate grocery shopping lol I only have Ramen and easy Mac at my house right now 🙁 blah.

training camp was awesome 😀 😀 😀 😀 brady was a phenom as always, teblow (not a typo) actually was quite good as well. stoked about amendola, and some of the newer receivers that i'm not familiar with really stepped up.

Bugs. :scared: I'm such a wuss when it comes to them.
My husband killed a HUGE black widow spider outside the screen door on Sunday :scared: I hate bugs to start with, but poisonous evil ones? No freaking thank you.

I have a Jansport as well with a citrus pattern on it that I love 🙂 I know they do lifetime warranties and I should send mine back in because it's got a little hole. It's pretty dirty though (white background) and I've been thinking of getting one of the darker/more solid colored ones.

Thoracic surgery, otolaryngology ( ENT) , and pulmonology for me.

Pulmonology, infectious disease and thoracic surgery for me.

I got bored around question 30 and gave up. Im sure that means something....

Probably that you got sick of them repeating the same 20 questions in slightly different wording.

I went through it all I just know my first one was medical oncology and psychiatry was up there as well...

I would never do psychiatry.
