Yea.. I did something like that too. Left most of my hair blonde, but the bottom layer (from ear to neck to ear) was bright red. You could only really see it when I had it up in a pony tail. It started to fade and now that part of my hair os permanently dark brown.

...... Did it change the hair follicles or something? Why didn't grow back out normally?!?! 😱

I have no clue. It seems like those don't grow much anyways. :laugh: I have really long hair, so maybe it stopped growing.. 😉 But it's super dark and I hate it.

That's weird. I know hormonal changes can permanently change your hair, but dye isn't supposed to. :laugh:

When I was a kid, my hair was brown and had a very slight wave. Enter puberty, and now it's darker brown and curly. Length weighs them down somewhat, but when I have my hair shorter (or soaking wet at its length now) there are bits that form perfect corkscrew curls among the bits that are more messy-curly.

My hair has a wave and the longer my hair is the stronger the wave.

I was born with dark hair, but then within a couple of days it all fell out and came back blonde. Now it's a darker blonde. I'm pretty happy with it. 🙂

I think that's pretty common for babies? Hair darkening as you get older definitely is, at least. My two youngest siblings were both white-blonde as young kids, and now their hair is mousy-brown. It comes from my dad's side of the family. 🙂

I dunno if I'd say mousy brown... 🙁

(Explanation for sad face -- littlest sister and I have basically the same hair color. The biggest differences are that I've always been a brunette, and that my hair is wavy while hers is straight.)

Is it? I always think of yours as darker than hers.
 
Mine used to be extremely light blonde. And I loved it. In the summer, the sun would bleach it to be almost white.

Not it's getting darker and darker. I really don't like it. and like I said, the bottom layer already is brown.. 🙁

I know. I've been doing it every once in a while over the last years. First time I learned it was in 3rd grade in school. :laugh: But I can't evenr figure out how to make stuff like this..

My mom made me one of these when I graduated from high school. The tassel's black and white because those were my school colors (boring as they are). I think it may have been knitted instead of crocheted, though.

So cute! 😍

I finally got trained on being a caretaker in the SA hospital this week and there are 3 or 4 pits/pit mixes. They are soo cutee!
