I agree with multiple kittens. My little guy (I also have a dog that the kitty gets asking with and an older cat he wants to play with)thinks I am his main chew toy/playmate/momma. A playmate would definitely be a good idea.

Is it bad that I'm hoping that my brother will mess up just a little more because then the car will be taken away from him and given to me completely (sharing right now technically but he has it all the time)? He just gets in trouble all the time and my mom is tired of helping him out without getting anything back but bills he can't pay (even though he makes more than enough money). That would mean I could keep that car instead of getting a smaller one. I feel really comfortable driving it and like having that much room (ford escape).

This reminds me of when I got my first two dogs.
My mom took me to the shelter for my 9th birthday to pick out a dog and I picked one of two brothers. They were just little pups at the time and were SO good with each other. So anyway, I picked him out, named him and got his tags, collar, leash, etc. Well, apparently my mom forgot the paperwork from their kennel to give to the receptionist. She went back, saw the other one looking lost without his playmate, and my mom felt bad and got them both. :meanie: And thank God because the 2nd one is just the sweetest dog, and is a great addition to the family. I don't know what I'd be without him. 😳

I'm super excited! Going out again today! I wanna spend as much time with them as possible before I get them and am also walking dogs for them now whenever I get back there to visit my mom. 🙂

My mom did the same thing when we adopted to of our cats. We spent HOURS at the shelter and by the time we finally settled on a kitten, the shelter was closing and it was too late to fill out the paperwork. My mom went back the next day to officially adopt him and found him snuggling in the cage with a little calico kitten. Someone had adopted her the day before and then decided they didn't want her after all, so they brought her back to the shelter. My mom felt bad leaving her behind, so she adopted both of them. Bonnie and Clyde are an integral part of our family now, couldn't imagine life without them both. 🙂
 
I'm so so excited to be getting them! 😍

And my mom is making them a cat tree herself. She's really good with that kind of stuff and since I'm moving into the small apartment attached to the main house next summer, she can make it so it fits well in there. 🙂

So, I've said before that I'd like my kittens to have names that mean something. What do you guys think of Zuri (beautiful) and Maisha (life - for the one in the hospital). 🙂

I don't want to post in the Rave thread just yet, but rant isn't appropriate either.

Maisha got sub q fluids twice today. She still isn't very active and is mostly laying in the middle of the room, not moving. But every once in a while, she gets up to get some water. That is a lot of improvement. She's walking and she's drinking. Now we just need to get her to eat.

Meanwhile, the other cat is coming completely out of her shell. She wasn't like that before at all. Bouncing across the whole room and playing with her reflection in the mirror etc. I'm waiting for their cat tree to come in. Hopefully that'll be interesting to both of them.

HOW TO SHOWER LIKE A WOMAN:

Take off clothing and place it in sectioned laundry hamper according to lights and darks. Walk to bathroom wearing long robe. If you see husband along the way, cover up any exposed areas. Look at your womanly physique in the mirror -- make mental note to do more sit-ups/leg-lifts, etc. Get ...in the shower. Use wash cloth , long loofah, wide loofah and pumice stone......
Wash your hair once with cucumber and sage shampoo with 43 added vitamins. Wash your hair again to make sure it's clean. Condition your hair with grapefruit mint conditioner. Wash your face with crushed apricot facial scrub for 10 minutes until red. Wash entire rest of body with ginger nut and jaffa cake body wash. Rinse conditioner off hair. Shave armpits and legs. Rinse off. Turn off shower. Squeegee off all wet surfaces in shower. Spray mold spots with Tilex.. Get out of shower. Dry with towel the size of a small country. Wrap hair in super absorb
ent towel. Return to bedroom wearing long robe and towel on head. If you see husband along the way, cover up any exposed areas.

HOW TO SHOWER LIKE A MAN:

Take off clothes while sitting on the edge of the bed and leave them in a pile. Walk naked to the bathroom. If you see wife along the way, shake wiener at her making the woo-woo sound. Look at your manly physique in the mirror. Admire the size of your wiener and scratch your butt. Get in the shower. Wash your face. Wash your armpits. Blow your nose in your hands and let the water rinse them off. Fart and laugh at how loud it sounds in the shower. Spend majority of time washing privates and surrounding area. Wash your butt, leaving those coarse butt hairs stuck on the soap. Wash your hair. Make a Shampoo Mohawk. Pee. Rinse off and get out of shower. Partially dry off. Fail to notice the water on floor because curtain was hanging out of tub the whole time. Admire wiener size in mirror again. Leave shower curtain open, wet mat on floor, and light and fan on. Return to bedroom with towel around waist. If you pass wife, pull off towel, shake wiener at her and make the woo-woo sound again. Throw wet towel on bed.

If there is anyone who did not laugh at the truth behind this, there is something SO very wrong with you.
 
The man part of that is true in my house lol but the woman part is definitely not. I strip down in the bathroom leaving my clothes in the floor, get in the shower, wash my hair, put in conditioner, wash my body and shave, wash my face, rinse conditioner and I'm out. I get in and out as quickly as I can. After drying off I will use the same towel for my hair and walk to the bedroom naked. :laugh: I guess I'm more like the man than the woman. My husband gets mad because I will forget to pick up my clothes and they will stay in a pile in the floor.
