Mine isn't as rare as yers, but yeah ... I know the feeling. Sometimes it'd be nice to be named Matt Smith or something. In my vet school class we have like 4-5 Matts out of, what, 20 guys? Sigh.

(And no, I'm not sharing yer name with anyone. For all the crap I give you, I'm not a total jerk.)

My first name was one of the top 5 girl names that year. My last name is a top 50 last name. My facebook is set such that if we don't have a mutual friend or you don't know my email/the url of my facebook you can't find me.

Just to give those who do a good laugh:

My last name can be replaced with chimney in the Mary Poppin's song Chim Chim Cheree... 😉

That's pretty much why I like to ad other people. Even though there is a very small chance I'll go to any school besides UGA or Edinburgh, it's still cool to see what everyone is doing.
 
I Google all y'all. Then I hire PIs to follow you around and take pictures. And then send them to me. Then I Photoshop myself into them. Then I put them in frames and hang them on the walls. Good thing I stop then though, or people would think I'm creepy.
 
My name is the same as a lady who was part of a group of people wrongfully accused of being terrorists. Also, I'm a shipwreck.

Explains a few things =P

My name is like... well, it's uncommon. With my maiden name, I was the only one. Now it looks a bit more diluted, thanks to the way more common last name.

I'm friends with quite a few folks. I generally don't mind as long as you identify yourself and don't act creepy. Just know that friending me makes you that much easier for anyone else to find based on common friends...

And we have four Matts in our class.

If you google my name, you get a teacher that died in the Va Tech shooting, a gay porn star, and some artists. None of whom are me. 🙂
 
Haha, my name is pretty rare in vet med, but my first AND last names are the most generic in my country of origin. So essentially John Smith. And my first name's unisex too, so I am buuuuuried in google searches. But on google images, I'm the first one that shows up with my full name.
 
Googled my name. Italian born British Actress, tons of twitter and linkedin accounts, and a doctor.
 
Wow...if you Google me, there is like a page of links, granted a lot of them are to a really crappy blog I had to keep for a photo class. Then I get all these random posts because they like to drop the first letter in my last name or add random first names. At least the ones with name are me (at least as far as I can tell) since I don't think my last name is too common.

ETA: Oh dear...a picture pops up from when I was in high school and I look either high or is I had just gotten a mugshot taken..

I get quite a few pictures of facebook friends and then random stuff like that too...glad to know my name is associated with rubix cubes.
 
My bf is obsessed with them. He's currently working on solving the 8x8 cube. It blows my mind.

I'm not that smart... I can do the original rubix cube and the rubix sphere. The rubix cubes with faces or patterns on them ( besides the normal only colors) are very hard because it isn't just getting the square back to its original position but also making sure it is orientated properly... So hard to do. But the original cube and the sphere, those are fun and relatively easy once you figure it out.
