Chris P. Bacon. lol😀
I wonder if I'm going to get to meet LIS!!!!
So for those of you who have gotten acceptances...
Does the compulsive SDN/rereading-schools-pages/checking-portals/looking-at-hypothetical-apartments/not-doing-your-homework&studying-because-all-you-do-is-think-about-your-applications problem improve after you know you have a seat?
Meh, it's so blizzardy and I don't know what to do with myself. I should do something productive, but I'm sick and don't have the energy. But I'm ansy and don't want to sit around any more. I would go play in the snow but lungs are not going to appreciate that.
"hey, wake up, I need to go stand in the yard and sniff things instead of peeing"
So, I have a question.
I have looked up stats from all the schools I wish to attend eventually and noticed that not one of them (at least the ones who list the info) have ever accepted a person with a degree from my school. I go to a community college. It is fully accredited and a 4 year institution...But in no way is it a UF or USF.
Once I get my pre-reqs done for applying I will only have just over a year left before I achieve a BS Biology. So I plan to just keep going to school and apply every cycle.
Should I transfer to a bigger university to get my BS? I do not want to. I know $ will be just drops in the bucket after vet school but I would rather not spend the money if I don't have too.
Does the prestige of the school you've attended matter?
With the exception of a few schools (Cornell and Penn I think), generally your undergrad institution doesn't account for much. As much as perhaps it should, logistically it's so difficult to quantify the difficulty of every undergrad institution that it just has to play a very minor role if any. I would save your money and stay where you are.
although other schools require upper level classes to be at a 4 year school (for example UCDavis).
Check each schools requirements carefully.

If it's a small school and doesn't have a big pre-vet program, it's entirely possible no one from your school applied to those schools. Certainly consider what everyone else said, but...well, LSU probably hasn't accepted anyone from my undergrad before, but that doesn't mean I'm not a great applicant!
The Walking Dead is on right now, back from its mid-season break.
Is anyone else into this show?!?!?
Also, I might have the hots for Daryl 🙂
Omg. I'm obsessed with that show
😍 You just made my sh***y day sooo much better!
careful.. getting around the SDN censor that way is a TOS violation, and I have been warned and/or violated in the past for doing that. I recommend you edit it before the mods notice.
Yay! Did you not want to pee yourself at the end?!![]()

I'm still working on my ochem lab report. Started it yesterday before lunch and just couldn't get myself to finish it. An hour left now until its due! Haha
Ahhh! Don't tell me! Don't tell me! I was flying back from Minnesota last night so I haven't seen it yet! 😛
Anyone else into knitting? I've gotten....way too obsessed with it. I've knit baby booties, a doggie sweater-dress, a doll skirt and matching hat, and a stuffed dog. I've only been doing this for a month.
Help, please.
