I agree. There were a number of people calling them out.

My faith in humanity is usually slashed when reading public FB comments on stories (I'm subscribed to both of my city newspapers). How people could attach their names to such ignorant stupidity is beyond me....

So it is nice to see some brain function for once.

I'm almost positive no human being actually reads the reports though - within five minutes of clicking the report link I had a response from Facebook saying that the page will not be removed. Yeah, same. Not sure if they'll read that either, but you do what you can....
 
Somehow my nights always seem to go from, "oh hey, I'm gonna go to bed early/on time tonight cause I'm just exhausted, but let's just check sdn/facebook for a few minutes first to decompress," then two hours later, "oh crap..." Except usually with a less appropriate word. And then next night, "Well, I was a little short on sleep last night, so let's try to avoid distractions and go to bed early. But just one quick check to make sure there are no amazingly important posts online." Two hours later... you get the picture.
 
Searching on Craigslist for potential summer jobs, as that's were I tend to find the most veterinary/farm/research postings all in one place. Find an ad for "Field Research Interns" which sounds promising. Reading through the ad, there's no real information given and I'm left wondering what the heck these people are researching. Get to the bottom and find this:

"This is not the time to ask questions, so don't. If you feel that there are mitigating circumstances or future events that may, or would, favorably impact your application, then simply state so. If you still feel compelled to ask questions now, then please don't bother to apply."

Looks like I'll be staying away from that one.
 
Apparently forgot to put the lid back on the kitty litter container the other day. I was just packing up my stuff to head back to school and noticed that one of the cats (I'm assuming the little one) squeezed itself into the tidy cats container and used it as a litter box. Oh cats....certainly gave me a good laugh.

I used to use litter that was in a carboard box that didn't close well. One time I left it out and the cat was like, oh cool, a new place to poop! Another time he went in the cupboard and pulled the half empty box out and dumped it all over the floor. Had to put a child safety latch on the cabinet after that.

NO! Haha. I know this is like 10 days late, but this is actually not needed at all. And got pushed into mass social networks and now these people are getting a ton of sweaters they don't need at all. I was really excited when I first saw it and was going to make some sweaters, but then started reading more into it. It's not needed at all. And so if anyone reads this page and is deciding to do it, please don't. Just so you know now. 🙂

GAH nothing makes me more unbelievably frustrated than the people who post **** about vaccines being bad. YOU'RE 20 OF COURSE YOU'RE NOT GETTING SICK BECAUSE YOU'RE YOUNG AND HAD RESPONSIBLE PARENTS WHO VACCINATED YOU. NO AMOUNT OF GREEN TEA AND YOGA IS GOING TO ADD UP TO A VACCINE'S BENEFIT

my cats are not afraid of lightning or thunder. But today during our all day storms, I did find out that at least one is afraid of the power blinking.

HAaha! I would be the mean owner who goes around and flips the lights on and off just to seem them run from the room!

no. that doesn't bother her. it is specifically the power blinking. I don't understand my cat's quirks
 
I just found out this guy existed. Can't. Stop. Staring.

I hate spiders.... hate them.

So I am about to go head upstairs to get a shower when I notice a spider on my floor about half the size of my hand. After suffering a mini-heart attack, I devise a plan to get rid of said spider. I grab the ant killer and drown the spider in that, yet he still is trying to move, so I grab a magazine and smack him hard with it. He was dead for sure then, so I use the magazine to pick him up and then throw him away.... gross.

Now I will have the heebie jeebies and feel as if spiders are lurking around waiting to kill me for the next 4 or 5 days.... :scared:

I'm actually a tiny bit scared to move out of my apartment because surprisingly PEI has some freaking HUGE spiders. I'm afraid I may inadvertently trade my bug-free apartment for a spider infested one. :bag:
