I think they can be either but I prefer soft. 🙂Are snickerdoodle cookies supposed to be crunchy or soft?

Cookies should never be crunchy, if they are, someone doesn't know how to bake.
... Oatmeal cookies that contain raisins AND chocolate chips are the reason I have trust issues. Hehe but really, I like soft cookies way better than hard ones! Snickerdoodles are underrated, but I like them 🙂
I made snickerdoodles and oatmeal-raisin-chocolate chip, and no one will eat the snickerdoodles. 🙁 I'm fairly certain the oatmeal ones are only being eaten because they contain chocolate.
The fact that any cookies exist with raisins give me trust issues... ugh. I've been burned so many times.... Cookies should be soft....my associate doesn't agree and likes to bake. And I try to be polite. ugh
I love snickerdoodles. You could send some my way 😉
I would try those, too.I find it depends on the cookie. Snickerdoodles I like soft. Chocolate chip I don't mind a tiny bit of crunch and there's been a few that I've loved that are definitely crunchy. Oatmeal raisin= soft, but I also like those harder oatmeal cookies with icing on them.
I've been told I make a pretty mean blueberry, white chocolate chip cookie.

I suddenly want oreos and a huge glass of milkthats what milk is for
First of all milk is gross. Second, I'm lactose intolerant. So I don't drink milk with my cookies or anything elsethats what milk is for

I liked chocolate milk as a kid. But whenever I went to a friends house and they made us drink milk with our meal, I dreaded it.Normal milk is gross, chocolate milk though... that's another story. Lactose intolerance would make it significantly less enjoyable though.

I'm also lactose intolerant! If I'm going to have dairy, I try to time it so that I can suffer alone and not drag anyone down with me (or I use Lactaid). Have you tried the Fairlife milk, even if you just need to cook with it? It's a little pricey, but the lactose is filtered out so it doesn't have that gross, sweet taste that milk with lactase in it has. I'm really liking it. Also agree with the soft cookie thing. Oh no 🙁 such a good type of cookie tooI bought white chocolate macadamia nut cookies today. I was very unpleasantly surprised when I took the first crunchy, hard bite 🙁
I basically use lactaid or eat/drink dairy at night. I really don't like the taste though. I tend to use cashew milk to cook withI'm also lactose intolerant! so dont let drugs be the hang up for you, because truthfully they are no where near as important and good compressions and an airway. i'd recommend reading the RECOVER articles, particularly RECOVER 7 if you havent already. as for what you use and when, i think a lot of it ends up being clinician dependent and scenario dependent. vasopressin is another "commonly" used drug, but it is intermittently on back order and can literally be $100s for a code, depending upon pet size. there really isnt a good one size fits all answer to your question unfortunately. as for comfort level, i feel like this is something you get thrown into the fire with a time or two and then you start to pick it up. its so much different when you are the doctor running the code vs. when you are a tech or assisting dr.I'm curious if any upperclassmen/graduates have words of wisdom in this regard: emergency drugs. I've been trying to get a handle on how to run a code from the doctor's perspective and the hang up for me is the drugs. When do you use atropine? When do you use epi? I've seen people give epi then atropine, and I've seen them give atropine then epi and I've seen them push both at the same time. I know textbooks say to repeat "the drugs" every 3-4 minutes if there's no response but I can't find anything stating why you would do one and then the other but I could just be looking in the wrong place.
Thanks! RECOVER 7 being the one on clinical guidelines? I'd never heard of these articles, but this looks like it's essentially what I'm looking for. I asked a criticalist last night why he ended up giving epi and atropine at the same time and he just said "It works better." Good enough for me, I guess! Thanks again for pointing me in the right direction 🙂so dont let drugs be the hang up for you, because truthfully they are no where near as important and good compressions and an airway. i'd recommend reading the RECOVER articles, particularly RECOVER 7 if you havent already. as for what you use and when, i think a lot of it ends up being clinician dependent and scenario dependent. vasopressin is another "commonly" used drug, but it is intermittently on back order and can literally be $100s for a code, depending upon pet size. there really isnt a good one size fits all answer to your question unfortunately. as for comfort level, i feel like this is something you get thrown into the fire with a time or two and then you start to pick it up. its so much different when you are the doctor running the code vs. when you are a tech or assisting dr.
- you should be able to find the RECOVER articles on JVECCs free access, but if not, PM an email address and I can forward them on
If you PM me your email, I have all of the RECOVER docs in an old email and can toss them all your way in one go. 🙂Thanks! RECOVER 7 being the one on clinical guidelines? yeah the others go through the evidence, but 7 is the clinical guidelines. its the one they make you read when they want you to know something 😉 the silverstein ECC book also has a couple of chapters on this stuff too if you havent read through there, but i think RECOVER gives you a good synopsis. honestly, everyone should read through RECOVER 7 at some point, it tells you what you need to know, and thats where those CPR charts come from (the algrhythm and the drugs)Thanks! Can someone explain to me how they just let this woman run to the back?? But anyway. It's a dangerous world out there.
You make a good point. I didn't think she had pulled out the gun until she was already in the back. But it any case it's been established that it wasn't a real story.Do you really expect receptionists to throw themselves in front of a deranged woman with a gun? That's asking an awful lot for what they get paid...
What's funny is that the story came out the day we almost needed to call a cop to stop a crazy threatening client. You make a good point. I didn't think she had pulled out the gun until she was already in the back. But it any case it's been established that it wasn't a real story.

Somehow this made me want a dog 🙂I finally made it outside for the first time in a couple days. It has been raining on and off for today, and the yard is flush with fallen leaves and fresh air. I should not have been enticing my dog to run full speed towards me in the dark, but alas, my happiness about taking a moment from the computer and rejoining reality was great. I was taken out by said equally enthusiastic dog. I now have a large lump rising in the vicinity of my left temporal region and what will be a very colorful bruise underneath beautifully extended scratches from some overdue for a trim nails on my thigh. Good stuff. 🙂
