I like to imagine I'm not that easy to find (well, my username has nothing to do with my real name at least), but if you happen across someone whose profile pic is a cat staring at a hamster in an exercise ball, and cover photo is a baby betta...that's me 😀

Once you figure out who one person is, the entire curtain of mystery falls down for all of us 😛 I think I have known who you, DVMD, Dy, LIS, SOV, and a few others are for a while. Just haven't tried to add anyone.

I'm friends with bat, Hmoo, pugs, and WildAnimal, in addition to some classmates. Wild just won't know it's me unless she sees this post/any post about Disney :whoa:

I seriously just went down the rabbit hole of FB stalking from the few people who added me today. Putting together the username with the real actual human names/faces is weirding me out... so I am stopping now. I only added WZ due to FB suggesting it and laughing at the pictures letting me know who it was (and I'll accept any and all who add me).
 
My anonymity has been dead for a long time. However, I have changed my name on FB so that it isn't my real name, to hopefully, though unlikely, keep some anonymity. That and to keep any future insane clients from finding me on FB.

Ha yeah once you merge worlds, there is no returning. I did the same thing when I first found a good web of people but I kind of like keeping my FB private and I'm working on deleting people from it regularly. Not that I don't want you guys as FB friends....but you get it. Maybe in the future.

It is kind of funny to creep on someone and see that you have mutual friends already. It really is a small world. I think I had several mutual friends with Dy, but we were in the same area for a bit. I had like 6 with someone, but I can't remember who now.

Yeah....I don't know how someone could friend a ton of their clients like my old boss would. She regularly gets wall posts asking for appointments, advice, whatever.

I have no intuition on trying to figure out who anyone is. The only reason I knew who PP is was because of the APVMA Facebook page. Otherwise, y'all could probably friend me on Facebook and I'd be like, "Who is this random person? Are they part of the ResLife staff? No. Are they one of my kids? No. Well, no friend acceptance for you!" Then you would sit in my limbo friend wait list, cause then you can't request my friendship again.
 
The only SDN friends I have on Facebook I knew irl before SDN. so there's very few people on here who would be able to find me.
 
I'm only friends with three people from here, but I think I've figured out who most of the regulars are through either friend suggestions or just general stalking. Once you find one, it gets pretty easy to find a bunch.

I blame @nyanko ... she stalked me first. (with an assist to @twelvetigers who was also a serial stalker back then).

Also, I was a SDN member well before FB. I only joined FB due to the constant harping from my PennWe V14ers. Apparently it is not possible to go through vet school without being on FB. Since leaving vet school FB is 90% for pics of my furry friends, and 10% for aviation. And these days I don't post as many pics as I used to.

Time for a new media for me I guess.

There's a bunch of people in my class in the same boat. I'd definitely feel very out of the loop as far as resources go as well as just information about courses. I think our faculty members trust us to rely on Facebook a little too much, rather than them disseminating information sometimes.

Our anatomy teaching group actually uses a FB page to communicate with us. Some emails still go out, but yeah daily messages are generally posted to the FB page only.

Plus our secret class page is excellent for posting those mid-class gifs that EVERYONE is feeling at that exact moment.
 
Just followed Kobe's and Geord's instagrams. That's how intense my level of stalking goes.:ninja:
 
My campus is having a Nerf gun war for the rest of the semester and they said that staff could sign up. So of course I did. Took out my first student after lunch. Went to the cafe to eat and I saw him sitting there and I was stunned by my luck. I hung out until he left and followed him out of the building and said his name to make sure it was him. He turned around and said, "Yeah?" Shot him in the chest. One down.

My next target is actually one of my kids that lives in my building. How beautifully lucky.

There has been more than one occasion where someone posts something identical/nearly identical to the APVMA page and to here. Seems to happen more often with new SDN members, but I still kind of chuckle.

FB occasionally suggests people that I have a bunch of SDNer mutual friends with, which is a great hint, lol.

I knew a woman in my stained glass class who had the first name April and the last name Flowers. So if you're first name is Buttercup, you need to find April Flowers and start a club.
