Agreed. Really heartbreaking. People are commenting on news reports wondering if she was committing suicide, I hope that's not what was going on 🙁
There was a tech that used to abuse it. Would take leftovers from syringes and inject herself. It didn't end well.
Oh no 🙁 Some of us suspected an employee was abusing tramadol when she bought several hundred pills in one month, then bought another several hundred a month or so later. Hard situation to deal with for sure. Sorry to hear that it ended badly for the tech.
Apparently if you get to the point just before passing out it can get you very euphoric. Having had propofol on several occasions, I have not found that to be the case.
Your post inspired me to look up my childhood home (from age 1-8) in new jersery and it's in "pre-forclosure"/default on loans... 🙁 Now I'm sad.
I'm glad the more recent families took good care of the house. I grew up in the panhandle of Florida where you had a really interesting mix of people. The houses my neighborhood friends were in look really bad now. I do miss it there, but looking at these pictures I remember why my dad spent hours each week maintaining our lawn. That 'soil' wasn't good for anything but palm trees, haha. I can't creep into my grandpa's or friends houses 😡😡
I think we would have stayed in FL if it weren't for my dad's job transferring him all over. Kind of weird, I guess I can't imagine staying in that house anymore. Probably because I just saw it looking completely different. I went and looked at pictures of my grade school and had flashbacks. Currently cruising my old stomping grounds with Google Earth.
It is, I love it. Although I'm a bit frustrated to find that my friend's memorial is no longer there...🙁

I lived in the same house until I was 18, and then we moved after I graduated high school. It took about 2 years for the house to sell, but I've driven by a couple times in the past year and whoever lives there now has really fixed up the outside. New fence, fancy new front door and garage door, they added shutters to the windows, really nice landscaping, etc. I'm curious what it looks like on the inside. I just looked at it on Zillow and there are still pictures from 6 years ago before we moved out (including one of my bedroom with the bed unmade.
Our first realtor was so terrible), and then more from after we moved out and had some company redecorate the place and rent it out so it would sell better. They did a really nice job, although it was weird to see my room re-done as a little boy's room. 🙁 I really miss that house sometimes, but my parents' current house is really nice too.
My old room has a bed and a treadmill now. I forgot how small they were, I can't imagine use having stayed there now. I was 11 when we had to moved into my Grandpa's I think. Our Michigan home definitely has more space for everyone (and the pets I keep bringing around...). Oh wow, that'd would fuel a lifetime of nightmare for me. I still have occasional nightmares about the I10 bridge we took every single day to get to school. Part of it was obliterated during hurricane Ivan. I do miss seeing dolphins and huge fish on the way to school, don't miss how far my mom had to drive us. Also, the fact that I've always had a fear of longer bridges wasn't fun.
