I've read quite a few posts here with people complaining that they averaged 30 or 32 on the practice tests but received a <30 on the real thing.
I posted in the 30+ thread with the details, but my AAMC scores had a 5 point range (34-39) and I scored very close to my average. I'm not sure what the range of scores is for other people.
I'm wondering if scores that range too widely (like 35, 29, 26, 31) could serve as a red flag? Maybe it would be a good idea to go back to the low scoring tests and check the subject areas or type of passage/question.
What are your experiences with this?
