5 Hardest Pre-Pharm. courses in order
[based on work load, tests, teacher, and overall stress-generating capacity]
including electives if applicable!

1. Human Anatomy and Physiology II [work-load 2x any other class ever]
2. Organic Chem. II [teacher=suck, material=lots, stress=much, cumulative year final]
3. Ancient Philosophy [different way of thinking, hard reading]
4. Physics I [boring, material]
5. College Comp. [workload, papers!]

Easiest: Business Statistics! Oh, to be a business major 😀

Let see what everyone comes up with and maybe make a cumulative ranking or something...ah, i will be nice to be done so one can truly retrospectively reflect on the years that were...

1. Writing- Research and Argument- highest workload by far / not the most interesting thing ever
2. Multivariable Calculus
3. Physical Chemistry: Quantum Chemistry & Spectroscopy - does anyone really understand the quantum theory?
4. Biochemistry lab- I don't think I'll ever have to do that much writing again in my life. I still loved the lab, it was just a ton of work.
5. Radioisotope Techniques- just due to the bombardment of radiation I received 😉 .... it was cool though because we have a nuclear reactor at our school and we got to work down in it a few labs.

honorary mention: Every physics class.

1. Chordate Anatomy
2. BICH (our abbreviation for Biochem...appropriate!)
3. Animal Physiology
4. Principals of Evolution (not really that hard, just had a tenured prof)
5. Statistics (try taking it senior year and having to drag yourself to lab)

Easiest- Geology (took it senior year with freshman...a rock is...)

1) Calc II
2) Calc-based physics I
3) Microbiology, thanks to a lab partner who made each lab a holy hell to work through. She thought a stab inoculation meant "put the loop in and stir it around like you do to a jar of jelly when you first open it". Maybe she would have done better if she had bought, or bothered to photocopy, the lab manual, because God knows she never read it unless it was over my shoulder. If I had had a lab partner who didn't ruin our lab materials every other lab, I probably would have done better in the class.
4) Gen Chem II. For me, it was a lot more difficult than O. Chem I & II

Everything else was easy-peasy.

1. Physics 1 and 2
2. Organic Chemistry 1

Thats about it for me...guess ochem 2 would be next...but i found it much easier

5 Hardest Pre-Pharm. courses in order

1. Physics II
2. O. Chem. I
3. G. Chem I/II
4. Physio
5. Philosophy

Thank god that's all over..... for now.

1. O chem lab II. Looking back I may have enjoyed this class quite alot. However, it took up more time than the actual lecture and the class was run by a teacher who was nice but very strict. Plus there was the stress of knowing one stupid mistake would cost you your yield/quality grade.

2. statistics I am still taking this course. TEchnically it is mildly easy but it is so boring it is hard to focus on

3. biochem: i think it was the metabolism cycles that were the worst.

4. genomic biology. i could spend hours talking about my dislike for this class so i won't bore you with it

5. an online calc course i took at VT. onlinecalc course= instant hell

I absolutely don't remember which classes were hard. Maybe it's because it was 4 years ago that I graduated from college. As a matter of fact, I don't remember anything at all!! 🙁 But if i really, really had to dig back into my memory (read: look at my transcripts to see which classes I got C's in):

1 - intro physiology (although it was my major!)
2 - intro biology
3 - intro molecular biology
4 - intro chem

those damn intro weeder classes!!!!

don't worry man, your secret's safe wi....
"HEY USC J******H SMOKES POT - LOTS AND LOTS OF FRICKIN' POT"

1. Gross anatomy 1 & 2 :scared:
2. Medical Physiology 1 & 2 😕
3. Organic Chem 1 & 2 😱
4. Neurological Sciences 1 & 2 👎
5. Clinical Pathology 1 & 2 🙁

1. Organic Chem II (my brain is full--of reactions!)
2. Microbiology (taught by a veterinarian)
3. Macroeconomics (web class--the tests were IQ tests; they had nothing to do with economics)
4. Organismal Biology (largest workload by far)
5. History (tests were chock full of minutiae)

Easiest class--public speaking.

1. Calculus
2. Organic Chem I/II
3. General Chem II
4. Physics I
5. Biochem

I haven't taken Biochem... I'm sure it'll be on the top of my list next semester. 🙁

1. Organic Chemistry 2 LAB - currently taking now. what a pain. =(
2. Mammalian Physiology LAB - currently taking now. what a time consuming class
3. Genetics - what a waste of time for a C
4. Cell Bio - what a teacher who could not teach.
5. Structural Biochem - need i say more?
6. Organic Chem 1- its organic..

1. Biology 1 - I had no clue what I wanted to do in life - so skipped sooo much class.... =)
2. Physics 2 - Refer to above - that and I absolutely hate circuits
3. Any class that involved writing papers - ugh - oh I will not miss those long nights.

The rest of the classes I enjoyed =) 👍

Now... the Bioengineering classes on the other hand.... :scared:

Hardest:
1. physics II
2. physics II
3. physics II
4. physics II
5. physics II
did I mention physics II?? b/c if I didn't, I really do mean physics II! 😉 oh to death you go, E&M!
