the RoL date 20th feb you should know this. IMGs must be ECFMG verified or they will be removed from the match. That means they must have completed step 1, 2ck and cs. Even if the programs rank you you will automatically be withdrawn if you aren't verified in time.

Agreed. ROL due dates for programs and for applicants is the same, although most programs have their lists in (and don't touch them) at least 1-2 weeks in advance.

As mentioned above, IMG's must have Step 1/2CK/2CS resulted before rank lists are due, or you ware withdrawn automatically. It's your responsibility to make sure that it's complete -- any scoring delay on the USMLE's part will not be considered as a mitigating factor.

However, realistically many programs won't consider interviewing IMG's without 1/CK/CS all resulted already. So, as an IMG, trying to squeeze in your exams before the final due date is a bad plan overall, best avoided if possible.

thanks for the info. I was reading on NRMP that programs need to submit their quota and withdrawals by Jan. 31. What does that mean? since the RoL is due on Feb. 20

I believe that means they have to tell the NRMP before that date how many spots they have available and will be putting in the match (which this year = each other). Some programs might have gotten some additional funding from the previous year and be increasing their number of interns and such, so they have to tell the NRMP their quota.

Could be wrong though.

Agreed again. This year there is a bit of an extra spin, as it's the date that programs have to decide whether they are all in, or all out. If all out, they need to adjust their quota to zero.

Although, any program that is all out really needs to decide well before Jan 31, as they would need to be prematching people already.
