To answer this ridiculous thread too, I'll throw in my 0.02.
It does not matter where you go. Period. If you talk to any doctor they will tell you the same thing. What does matter is your boards and your dedication to your career. I work with some of the best physicians in the country at Mayo Clinic whom have went to your so called "less reputable schools".
Your school is only half of what kind of physician you're going to become. That's like saying if you throw any John Smith into a superior athletic program he will be the next Michael Jordon. No, no he wont. There is always going to be factors that will be in play to determine the bigger, and in my opinion, the more important question: "Will I be an excellent doctor and will I excel in my work?"
Asking to rank DO schools is as relevant as asking where do I go to get the freshest groceries. Well if your an awful cook and never put any effort into it, IT DOESN'T MATTER.
I would say 50% is a big chunk.
Some schools just have better resources and experience in educating their students.
