Just a couple of things. We don't typically close threads unless there are ToS violations. If you think there have been ToS violations, please report the offending posts (and the bickering doesn't really count). The other thing is if you want this thread to go away, stop posting in it. It will drop by the wayside.

Is there really all that much negativity? I've not even seen any except for in this thread. Granted I only follow about 4 or 5 threads at the moment (three of which are on their way out).

Amen to that! I will never understand the popularity of Coors Light. So on second thought, I will amend my above post to: "couldn't bring myself to because she's drinking ****ty beer!" 😛 (Though I do find it ironic that in a Canadian city, after the Canadians won the gold medal, we couldn't get the women a Canadian beer.)

I've never heard of Natural Ice. I'll take your word for it. Really, my issue with Coors Light is that despite being craptacular, it's EVERYWHERE! I have yet to be to a restaurant that didn't have it. But I live in a city with at least 3 breweries in it, so I'm spoiled for choice here. 😀

Alright, I'll start: last night I had an Anchor Porter, which was pretty good but seemed to be missing a bit of fullness in taste IMO (there's my rant to keep with the theme!). Would buy it again in the future, though.

This is my beer when I'm out at a pub or sitting down watching the Pens. It's made by Garrison Brewing, a microbrewery here in Halifax.

OMG, I LOVE Strongbow. I don't dislike beer, but I'll choose Strongbow any day of the week over a beer.
Have you tried Woodchuck? The same only sweeter. Can't drink as much of it.
I haven't but I will keep an eye out for it. I do like sweet things... anyone who has seen me with a cup of black coffee and sugar packets can attest to that. The pub had another apple cider, but it was really tart and almost clear. It was okay, but seemed like it would give me heartburn or something!
Try the original Woodchuck, then. The Granny Smith one isn't as sweet. I will say that BW-3 (not sure if you have those by you) has Woodchuck on tap. I always get a big one when I go to watch sports. Yum!
