This happened to me. I took an upper division human physiology course as a GE that was actually supposed to be an extra humanities course because I got my degree in engineering. Pretty much I went to my advisor, the department of the program, and the person in charge of undergraduate studies and bawled in their respective offices to let me graduate. It worked 😛

Gramps passed this morning. Glad he's out of pain. Thanks for everyone's support. 😍 Three deaths in 3 months + the BF's brother and his 3 suicide attempts crap + vet school = stick a fork in me I'm done. I'm just done :roflcopter:<---- crazy delusional Emiloo laugh.
 
I'm so sorry for your loss, Emiloo. We all know things have been insanely tough for you over the last few months - just keep truckin'. Everything will calm down eventually. I hope you and your family are doing OK after all this grief.

Waiting at legal services and there's a woman here with a service dog that looks like Emiloo's dog! But this woman is clearly not a dog person ... She tells the dog to sit then yanks up hard on her choke collar. Makes me sad for the dog 🙁

Yes, like Thor monster except this dog is the silver/grey/blue color ( whatever you want to call it). This dog looks so depressed though.

The problem with NaNoWriMo is that as soon as November's over, I acquire free time just as everyone else loses it to finals.

There's a big Christmas dance next Tuesday night, but there's no way my boyfriend can come with me since he's got a giant paper due the next day (and, unlike me, is the sort of person for whom the night before a paper is due means 'I'm working crazy hard on it,' not 'I finished it at least an hour ago'). Don't you hate when the other person is too busy with their stuff to deal with you being sad because you miss them? :cry:

This shouldn't bother me so much, but I just got out of swing, which means I have a lot of energy and right now it all turned negatively charged. 🙁

I'm sorry, Em. 🙁 Make sure that you take time to grieve and remember that healing is not an overnight process. My thoughts are with you.

look SGU, when you do not have your campus printers and internet connections under control (as in, both are pitiful), it is an incredibly stupid to continually want to press forward on the paperless and computer based exam policies you are desperate to implement. for reals, get your act together 1st please!!!
 
I would suggest not talking to her anymore, unless you have a mediator there with you. Like the lawyer. Taping the conversation.

Keloids are a type of scar that is continually renewed skin. They are often pink or red and smooth and can itch hurt or be ugly/raised. I have some keloids. They suck. What sucks more is that often when you go to get them removed they re-form or get worse.
Not everyone scars keloid like everywhere. Some parts of the body like neck/upper chest are more prone to them. Some ethnicities (black and API) are more prone to them.

Do not talk to her about anything else w/o representation and recording of possible. If you have to give her derm, it must be limited to those five punctures and not cover cosmetic anything. She's going to try to take you to the cleaners.

Do not hate the dogs, hate the predators in today's society who have learned that they are never responsible for their own actions and someone else will always pay.

I'm sorry you are dealing with this. Be firm that you offered to pay to treat the emergent condition- bites. Any cosmetic issue is just a reminder that she needs to not be stupid around dogs. Unless she's j-lo and has a career riding on her thighs being perfect she's out of bounds.

Not to burst your bubble but many white, blonde, light eyed people in my family have pretty severe keloids actually. Maybe there is an added genetic component involved, but I just wanted to throw that out there. 😏

I'm English and German with dark hair and normal skin (not light, not really olive) and I get minor non-dr visit worthy keloids on my knees and my chest. My appendectomy scar healed perfectly :shrug:

But the MD I talked to said the majority of derms just prescribe a topical cream and maybe a steroid injection unless she goes to some wacko who wants to actually remove it or some nonsense then she could slam me with a $5000 bill.

But I mean come on, the punctures are on her upper thigh. According to the most recent bill she sent me she is 47 years old so she's no spring chicken. She doesn't even have a bikini body.

She may request the wacko or the removal/other stuff. Stipulation sounds good. You are more than covering your responsibility here.

A few hours away, the first case, in years, of feline rabies was found in an unvaccinated cat, who bit it's owner. Urggggggh. Pet owners suck. Luckily, they claim that it is a very rare occurrence.

How long does it take after an injury to develop one? My vet is suggesting I put 3 months as the time limit on the release so I can get this whole mess wrapped up quickly. A dog bite should heal and scar within 3 months, no?

I read something about the scarring this morning. Some people get tattoos over them and the doctors were recommending to wait a year before getting one since it can take that long for it to stop changing/growing.

I have a huge one on my shoulder and I'm trying to remember how long it took until it stopped growing, but I can't remember. Probably 3 months-ish :shrug:
And seriously why does this Biz care about puncture wounds on her leg? UGH people drive me nuts! 😡
