I'm easy to find! Bright green hair (currently) 😂I dont know you or apoptosis, how am i supposed to find your office </3
Genuinely cannot think of anyone i would consider a "class celebrity " who sits back there 💀The audacity is killing me 😭 like bffr I heard one of them saying one day how they were the class celebrity but not in a good way🧍♀️
Crazy because on that same day during a lunch lecture, they were giggling so obnoxiously that someone in the first four rows turned around to look at them. I felt horrible for the lecturer,, I genuinely don't understand why you can't control yourself and just step out of the classroom if something is so funny you'd disrupt a vet's presentation
Ah yes I recall that. @WildZoo would you like to vouch for our funeral planning servicesWe also planned a funeral for Dubz at some point. We're so talented
you just want to plan another funeral. It’s like you’re just here for the zip lineRIP soupshark. It was nice knowing you. But also @finnickthedog!!! Another funeral for us to plan!!!!! We are the best in the SDN Business!!!!!
For sure for sure. I die a lotOh god I can’t even remember at this point. @cdo96 for sure. @singhb09 as well (so def he never even is on here anymore). @finnickthedog do you remember who else we planned funerals for?!

WHO IS IT IMMA FIGHT THEMSomeone in my class asked why we're being taught by technicians because "they're not doctors". I would literally trust the teaching techs with my life.
Did you feel it just now? The change in air pressure traveling to Ohio from how hard I just cringed nearly 1,000 miles away? The audacity is killing me 😭 like bffr I heard one of them saying one day how they were the class celebrity but not in a good way🧍♀️

*cries in 6-8+ hour waits* When I was still FT ER, anyways...your wait time is 1.5 hours
*cries in 6-8+ hour waits* When I was still FT ER, anyways...
I remember when I started my internship in the peak of Covid in June 2021 being told I have an 18-24 hour ER wait time. Literally anyone who complains about an hour long ER wait time in a stable patient can go (reevaluate their life priorities).
This is one of the dumbest ideas I’ve heard. What happens when you need two techs? Like placing a catheter, or taking rads? Have your corporate people ever set foot in a vet clinic?Corporate wants a 1:1 tech to doc ratio.

There were times in my residency where we had a 1:3 tech to doctor ratio and sometimes they would give us 2 assistants instead of 1 tech overnight. So they can’t draw up drugs, place catheters, give any drug, or pull blood, but by-golly they could take x-rays!Wait times are a big stressor on our management right now cause we'll have clients leave. And shockingly, it's not our doctor deficit that's the problem. It's our tech deficit. Corporate wants a 1:1 tech to doc ratio. 🙄 Well, when we have one tech for 5 hospitalized patients and 5 triage patients, it's going to take her time to get her **** done

all hail corporateNot shocked considering we shared overlords before you graduated
Considering the corporate bros who would come tour our specialty clinic near NYC: no.This is one of the dumbest ideas I’ve heard. What happens when you need two techs? Like placing a catheter, or taking rads? Have your corporate people ever set foot in a vet clinic?
I’m not saying these claims are justified or untrue I’m mainly just confused.Anyone have thoughts on this Reddit post?
General gist is a group of vet students are accusing the NAVLE of racially motivated score manipulation and systemic fraud. Plus a class for third party data analysis because Tuskegee is being targeted for termination based on NAVLE scores.
Most standardized tests favor white upperclass test takers. I don’t think there has to be any intention in the part of ICVA to deliberately manipulate the scores on a racial basis - there may be bias in the test. If NAVLE scores are going to be the sole basis for the nation’s one HBCU vet school to lose accreditation, I think an audit for bias should happen before taking that step.Anyone have thoughts on this Reddit post?

Tuskegee is on probation for more than just NAVLE scores unfortunately. Most standardized tests favor white upperclass test takers. I haven’t seen anything about it, and I’d like to think I’m pretty in the loop. Plus I haven’t seen any friends at Tuskegee post about it on their stories or such. This is all news to me. Has anyone heard about this pre-ligation letter that was sent?
Same here mainly just confused. Like I don’t think a third party review is unreasonable, but what happens after that?I’m not saying these claims are justified or untrue I’m mainly just confused.
I didn’t think the ICVA had access to your race? They asked me at the end a bunch of questions and you could choose to answer demographic information. Or are they saying that the ICVA is lowering Tuskeegee students scores?
Yeah, this is unfortunate.Tuskegee is on probation for more than just NAVLE scores unfortunately.

This just made me laugh hahahaha so thank you.Your new profile pic is confusing me. You were a super hero and now you're a dog chainsaw. 🤣

Same….I can't really say that letter left me with any fewer questions.
Also I want to know where they got all this data that shows that specifically students at Tuskegee and English speaking students from Latin American schools are being singled out. Like that’s a large smoking gun if true. What are they going to do if they get the meeting they're asking for and they're told, "Tests are graded automatically and there's no human eyeballs that actually grade the test (since it's multiple choice and electronic" or "graders are given numeric identifiers for test takers that have no demographic information"?

Same here. And wouldn't there be a noticable trend at other schools? While yes, Tuskegee has the highest number of minority students, other schools do have minority students. It would be fairly obvious if the minority students at other schools were also failing.
Quite a few students in my class failed NAVLE. None of the ones I know of were the minority students (and several were the top 25% students according to them). That doesn't mean the minority students didn't fail. But I think there would have been a pattern noticed sooner than 5 years out.
I pretty much only use profile pics to ID people. Who has the time to look at usernames? So whenever someone switches pictures, it takes me a hot second to go, "ah yes, this is Katie, not some random Internet stranger whom I've never interacted with."Your new profile pic is confusing me. You were a super hero and now you're a dog chainsaw. 🤣
Same here.
Someone just commented on the post accusing the OP of using AI to write both letters.
