Hello everyone.

I'm new to SDN and am amazed at the wealth of information here.
I hope some of you can help answer my questions about AACOMAS primary, or point me to where I may find answers to them.
Thanks!

1. For any publications I have made, would I add that to my Extra Curricular section? According to the
guidelines, we should not include experiences multiple times. What if I have multiple unique publications under the same research lab? For the start/end date, should I just include the start date as the date of publication?

2. I have many experiences shadowing many physicians. However there is only one physician whom I've shadowed on a consistent basis. This physician however happens to be an MD. Should I include this shadowing experience in the activities section or will it merely highlight the fact the lack of shadowing experiences with DOs (although I have shadowed DOs, just not consistently enough to write a paragraph).

3. When I enter courses, it organizes them in a list seemingly randomly. Does anyone know how they are organized?

4. I am a Russian major and obviously have taken many Russian classes. I have difficulty fitting my course prefix/number. The only issue becomes when I am trying to distinguish the differences between my Russian classes and my Russian language classes.
For example, "Russian 101" is entered as "Rus 101"
and "Russian Lang 121" is entered as "RussL 121"?
How would you go about this?

5. There doesn't seem to be anywhere I can list contacts for my experiences. Am I missing something?

6. My Russian major - would this be "ethnic studies"?

Thank you for your time!

Thank you for your time!

1- Yes, the EC section. Also, I added multiple entries for each publication,poster, etc
2- Give each experience the importance it deserves. MD is OK
3- by semester, you have to enter them by term and year.
4- Enter EXACTLY as shown on transcript. This could avoid delays in verification (precious time)
5- there is none. In the secondaries, schools usually ask for that info.
6-refer to app booklet

Thanks for the response TXKnight!

In regards to question #4,
I would put it in EXACTLY as it is shown on the transcript but I cannot due to the fact that the prefix is too long.
E.g., Russian 101 --> Russia 101?
What about Russian Lang 125 --> RussiL 125 ?

Clearly RussiL 125 is not Russian Lang 125.

Has anyone come across this situation and found a solution?
