I'd take the DO. You still may hear from your WL schools. Also, 3rd time applicant has a stigma unless you really improve. What do you think held you back?

What have you done to significantly improve your application for the new cycle? Did you apply last cycle with basically the same app as the cycle before? What makes you think you would have any better luck this upcoming cycle? How are your interviewing skills? Remember that in order to specialize in anything you have to go to medical school. You now have that option. I think I'd take it and rise and shine as a student. Work hard, do some research and kill the steps.

Thank- you both! I am still holding out hope for the waitlists but trying to be realistic at the same time. And I spent this past year working as a CNA full-time and as a med tech part-time. Looking at the number of schools that waitlisted me, I really think my biggest weakness is my interview skills
