My whole house smells like banana bread. I need to do this more often!

That's about what happened to mine! 🙂 No color for me, though.

Apparently some woman somewhere in America was claiming she got pregnant from a 3D porn. :eyebrow: And her husband believed her.

Wasn't that her excuse for her having a black baby when her husband and her are white? Or the other way around. Something like that.

Yes. It was amazingly hilarious.

This is the medical kit I got for my birthday, since I said I'd post a picture:

My dogs went to Princeton for the first time today and we saw 5 bunny rabbits. They had never seen one before. Let's just say, they were VERY excited. Couldn't tell who hopped more, the dogs or the rabbits. Luckily for the rabbits there is this thing called leashes..

That's so cute. Although I feel kind of bad for dogs who have never seen rabbits before...

They are city dogs. They are intimately familiar with squirrels and possums though. (and rats unfortunately)
Before we moved to the country our dogs knew wild turkey, but now that you mention it I'm not sure if they knew rabbits or not... (We lived on a busy street three minutes from the mall, who knows why the turkey paraded around in our backyard?) They definitely do now, though. Also mice, groundhogs, and skunks. And the squirrels around here have finally learned to stay out of the trees inside the fence.

We used to have bunnies until they left our yard. We do have birds, however, that enjoy tormenting my special, special beagle. I swear they sit on the fence and laugh at him.

The squirrels at our old house loved to tease the dogs. Seriously, I think they made it into a sport and trained their little squirrel babies how to do it. They were good at it and drove the dogs nuts. The squirrels around here mostly stay away. The birds did use to like to divebomb our tuxedo cat and pull up just shy of his being able to reach them, but I haven't seen any of them do it for awhile.

I spent most of the day at the beach in Maine with my boyfriend. This is extra special because it is one of our last weekends before I move to Oklahoma, and this was one of the first mini-trips we went on together when we started dating 4 years ago. /sappy girlfriend.

I'm so relieved right now!! I was really starting to worry about how I was going to afford a place to live in scotland, now I won't have to sleep on a park bench. 😀

I would have recommended that train station or pub stoop...at least get yourself out of the rain a wee bit 😛

And yay about selling the car! 👍

I Sold THE CAR!!!! :soexcited: :soexcited: :soexcited: :soexcited: :soexcited:

Yay DVMdream! :clap::clap::clap:

What a HUGE relief that must be!

I love getting to catch up on all these threads during the hour commute to my grandpas (don't worry DVMdream I'm not driving 😀 )

Thanks, katie. Good, on the not driving and being on phone. There is no text or internet website worth getting in an accident over. I wish I could find this video of this SUV getting demolished because the driver was texting and crashed into a semi... It was a scary video but made me stop texting when driving.

Dying my hair for the first time ever I'm so scared!

Very sweet. We had a week of camping/hiking/kayaking planned this week, but his new job ruined all that. Hope you had a great time! 😍

I will try to take better pictures, I really didn't like the ones I took. It isn't much different, mostly a trim and bangs have resurfaced.

I'm debating the bangs again. I think I might wait until winter because I don't want them stuck to my face during the Florida summer. 😎

Yeah, see I need bangs. Especially when my face is looking fuller. Sigh.

I'm going to foster an old man dog. I'm excited, he seems super sweet

It's dark blonde now. I wanted to go darker brown, but then I'd have to dye my eyebrows and that sounded terrifying. I kind of like it though, it's growing on me I guess. It's not a thousand times better than my regular hair color, but it's a nice change.

Fineeee, but only for a minute. I'm not going to look as beautiful as the last time I posted a pic because I wasn't dressed for a ball 😛

I will do my first cystotomy on Wednesday. The owners brought the dog in today and it had been previously diagnosed with uroliths. The owners were upset because x-rays weren't done and the diagnosis was on palpation alone. They have tried the food and weren't getting better. they came in because she was blocked this morning. She was in the hospital today and urinated for me and passed a stone about 1 cm in diameter. I explained everything to them and told them why we needed x-rays and they agreed. We talked through the stone that is 1/3 the size of the dog's bladder, they were approved for care credit and we proceed Weds unless they have an issue and need to come in early. I explained I had never done the surgery before. They hate Dr. B (their original doctor) so much that they would rather have someone who has never done a cystotomy before perform the surgery over her. I managed to procure someone to do it with me. They are also going to be following me to the new practice.

The place I am transferring to told me they have an official start date of 9/1/12 - so I get to claim mileage until then. And they asked me if I wanted any say in the schedule. Such a difference already!

Cute pic, wildcat. 🙂 And I like your shirt too, what I can see of it.
