Veterinary School Application Advising Ad

I feel kinda bad doing that. I like Maeby (as in Maeby Funke), but I'd probably spell it Maybe and then Call Me Maybe would be her theme song, which would get annoying. Muse is the current frontrunner. My brother's girlfriend wants Mishka, my brother wants Shade, Mom can't decide, and Dad thinks Spot would be the perfect name for her.

I bought my dog an entire meat lover's pizza the night before I put him to sleep, and took a bunch of pictures of him eating it. It weirdly made me feel better about it.

Got a hip girdle stabilizing belt thing today and I 😍 it. This is what it feels like to have hips that stay in place. 😍
It does make me look like an 80 year old woman, but I truly don't give 2 ****es right now!
Best 50 bucks I ever spent!


Also, I just need to gloat again about how amazing things are with me and the BF. He is truly amazing and I'm so so happy 🙂

Omg. I'm hurrying to get ready. It was so out of the blue. I was getting gas and this super tall guy with baby blues asked me what I was doing tonight! He said he had plans to hang out with friends but he wanted to take me out instead!

Hope it went well last night Abs!
Not sure if rave or rant but we're having our annual 4th of July party today! It's a lot of work but a lot of fun. I'll be on a few times to make sure Abs is still alive 😉.
 
Reasons why it's worth waking up at ridiculous hours to go cycling:

1. Homeless man serenaded me with Frank Sinatra as I went through a tunnel
2. Pro cyclist stopped his ride to save a snapping turtle from traffic
3. Sprinted through a line of geese, hoping that I wouldn't either hit one or get bitten
4. Old lady jogging with her tiny Pomeranian tied to her waist
5. Watching the sun rise over the river as boats row slowly down

Lmao! K here's how it happened. It wasn't scary lol. I was pumping my gas and he was at the pump behind me. I tend to smile at everyone but I gave him one off my better ones because he was pretty fricken cute. He asked about my paw print on my car that days who rescued who and then came over to look at a huge gash in my cat that I got in a parking lot when someone didn't leave a note and I can't afford to fix lol. He said "you probably do but do you have plans tonight?" I got flirty and narrowed my eyes asked why didn't he? He laughed and said he was supposed to hang out with a few of his friends but her would much rather take me out to dinner if I would like to go. He was so sweet and he got a bit shy and self conscious when he actually asked. I almost said no but I was like why the heck not?

Wow that was long lol. Anyway we went to dinner at this awesome Italian place on the river downtown. There's always stuff going on at the river do we just walked around and listened to the bands and there was this fire show we watched and we talked. 🙂

Lol I'm really out if practice! Probably. He said he'd call today so we'll see with that first. I'm not sure if the hesitation I'm feeling is because I was in a relationship for so long. This feels kinda weird lol.

Just relax and have fun for now. See where it goes and if it turns out to be more serious than you are comfortable with, then you can end it. Just don't play with him. :laugh:
 
Went to the doctor and finally got prescription strength heartburn medicine. It's working well so far!👍
Made gluten free dark chocolate brownies with fudge icing this morning. I was able to substitute half of the butter for fat free plain yogurt. I am excited to try them!
Driving to the beach tonight with my boyfriend. We are staying until Thursday. Very excited! But, I have to go buy a new swimsuit today...that story may end up in the rant thread..:lame::poke:

It sounds spontaneous and awesome. 😀 glad to hear it went well and that there was... kissing 😍 You deserve it, and like PP said, just have fun for now and see where it goes. It always feels weird when you've been in a relationship for a long time. Especially in your circumstances.
So what's he like? You said tall, is he dark and handsome too?? 😉. At least handsome?
 
And yes paddle boarding is awesome! My home town has a few places. Did you go with said gentleman?? 😉

Yeah, pretty friggin handsome. He's 6'6" 😍 blue eyes and darkish hair. He's really sweet too. I invited him this morning but he had plans to go hiking with his friends and didn't want to blow them off twice :laugh: He's making me dinner tonight and we have plans to watch the fireworks on Wednesday.

The boyfriend and I walked to the main street to get ice cream cones tonight. Perfect weather for it, and he was being all adorable and paid for mine. We are homebodies and hardly ever go out, which is usually my preference, but it was really nice to just walk around and eat some ice cream together.
 
Just got back from my trip! IT WAS AMAZING!!!! AND my semester schedule was posted. Raves all around.
 
I have my first GRE exam tomorrow morning. :scared:
The RAVE is that my husband grilled me a steak and some shrimp to "give me the protein" I need for my big test!! 😀
