As someone with a public health background, I really should know better than to eat raw cookie dough, but damn, it's so tasty, especially the kind I just bought on a whim at the grocery store. It actually tastes better raw than baked in my opinion. Food-borne illnesses be damned!

I've decided that for me, the benefit of eating raw cookie dough outweighs the risk.

Convinced my BF to do a wine & paint event, only it's even better because it's a paint your pet thing! So we sent in some pictures of our dogs and they essentially make up a paint-by-number on canvas and then we go in and paint it. Kind of cheesy but I'm super excited about it. Unfortunately I both registered for that and bought my bridesmaid dress for my sister's wedding today so my credit card is a little angry, but screw it. It's gonna be awesome!

It's spring/summer job interview season apparently. I have an interview with the county shelter today and I have to schedule another interview for a different zoo job in the next two weeks. I wish that I knew what was going on with vet school though.

My workplace was closed today due to a gas leak. Normally a three day weekend would be great, but my internship is pretty easy office work and I have nothing else to do so I will be bored until I venture out for my interview.

Plus, I'm helping to organize a conference, so getting delayed by even one day is actually very bad at less than two weeks before the big event.

I dropped Physics last semester due to the Professor/Lab TA combo from hell. It was really hard for my perfectionist tenancies to allow me to just cut my loses like that, but I did it and re-registered for the class this semester.

Now I KNOW I made the right choice...I just found out I got an A on my first test. I'm so excited!

Finally got to Primark today and it wasn't a let down. I was wondering how it would be as a US store and I wasn't disappointed. I know it's not the best quality stuff, but I walked away with like 4 pairs of shoes, a bunch of tanks, 3 pairs of pants, several nice shirts, a blazer type thing and several nice plain t-shirts for maybe $150. It's like Target...but better and cheaper!

And then I went crazy at other stores. I'm going with I'm treating myself for passing boards and stress shopping due to the Match tomorrow.

Just remembered my car has a really good protection plan. So I get free towing to the dealership 60 miles away, the radiator replaced, AND a loan car!! I don't have to be a dependent or stranded at my home for much longer!!

Got an email from a practice owner of a place I externed at as a 3rd year asking me what my plans were after graduation because he knew of some places hiring.

I was super touched that he thought of me because I didn't think I was spectacular by any means as a 3rd year ( not that I think that now either). I'll try to remember to reach out to him next year and update him as well.

It's not something I really need but I get tired of my place not being "completed" (I have many, many decorating ideas that I want to finish but I have to pace myself and stay within budget which means lots of window shopping for the perfect/perfectly priced pieces). If I can motivate myself to take my unwanted clothing, shoes, and purses to a local consignment store, I can possibly bankroll some of these projects.

Yes. But it was delicious and probably still less that I would use in my normal alfredo sauce.

I had a 3 day weekend. I went to the beach, saw manatees, slept. The weather was absolutely perfect. Tonight I cleaned my entire house. Literally everything is clean at once. This is a huge feat for someone who works 80-100 hours a week and is super lazy in the remaining hours haha. Such a good weekend. And this will be a weird week working with one of the medicine doctors I really like since my specialist is away.

I finally got my industrial piercing, I've been wanting it for years! Also, my 25 year old boyfriend is going through his mid-life crisis a little early and has been wanting to travel. Europe, preferably. We're gonna see if we can find anything for my spring break (in 3 weeks ) that is in our budget.
