RC is low. Should I retake DAT?

Hey everyone,
Hope you guys enjoyed seeing the eclipse. :ninja:
I took DAT this past week.
AA 23, TS 24, BIO 22, CHEM 29, ORGO 26, RC 17:smack:, PAT 25, QR 21
My overall GPA and science GPA are 4.00.
150+ shadowing hours.
I used to be a chemistry tutor in college
English is my second language. I know there is no excuse. :shy:
There are many schools that have RC cutoff at 18.
Do I stay a chance of getting accepted? or Should I retake the DAT to boost up my RC?

Your stats are amazing!!! Everything else is great, I would say don't worry about a retake because the rest of your scores help make that RC a little less of a downfall. Good job!! Be proud of yourself and enjoy the rest of your summer! 🙂

Great scores! You'll definitely get interviews!

I have a week left before my DAT and I'm freaking out because I'm not scoring that high on practice tests. Should I give myself more time or try to cram this last week or just postpone it another couple of weeks?

Thank you, this made me feel so much relieved. I'll be applying next cycle. In a meanwhile I'll give dental schools I want to apply a call and ask them specifically about my RC score. I hope my RC score won't hold me back.
