Hey everyone I just wanted to post a question to better prepare for this year's AADSAS. First of all I'm a re-applicant. I've just finished my second semester of SMP and since I maintained straight A's throughout this entire semester I routinely met up with professors in the hopes of asking them for LORs.

This year I'm sure I'll have strong LORs from 1. My Dentist, 2. My boss, and 3. One SMP professor. The 4th letter will either come from an SMP professor that I'm not confident can write me a strong letter or to re-use an excellent letter from last years AADSAS that was written by my favorite undergrad professor. My question to you all is if using a year old excellent LOR is frowned upon.

I'd appreciate your guys' advice, thanks.

I'd say go with the undergrad professor but update him/her with your progress and then they can update their previous letter accordingly. Since they were your favorite professor I'm sure they'll remember you, especially since they already wrote one letter.

My $0.02
