so this is my second time applying to pharmacy school, I was jw do pharm schools give re-applicants higher priority?

I really don't think re-applicants have a higher advantage to getting into pharmacy school. The only advantage they have is they know exactly how and what it is that has to improved for their next application.

I am a reapplicant. I applied to 2 schools last year. I was waitlisted at 2. For one of my schools--most of my question essays seems to be the same answer. Except for the questions to describe why the admissions should consider me and describing how you have changed and strenghten the application. Do I need to change my application totally or just add more information to it and any changes??

It should depend on the school. For example, UCSF looks over both applications at the same time (previous app & current app) and they suggest (almost demand) that you rewrite your essays, especially the supplemental app because they will be looking at the apps almost side-by-side. At least that was the impression I got. Also, you need at least one new letter of rec, because they review the old letters as well as the new ones. Therefore, I'd feel like re-applicants have a stronger chance of getting in [at UCSF] since they basically get twice as much information to convey to the committee.
