So in the last year I applied to 13 or so schools and only recieved an interview at 1. Where I was also placed on their waitlist. I have made the decision that if they placed me on their waitlist they most likely wanted me, just didn't have enough room at the time. Any thoughts on this? And what are thoughts to reusing a personal statement? Is it too much, especially if I haven't done that much to improve my application as a whole?

If you reapply you might get in. you might not.
In the meantime try to add some more beef to your resume.
Also, apply to other schools.
Only thing you can do really.

Yes, re-apply but try to add more experiences to your application...

I have been waitlisted, for two cycles at two seperate schools. 🙁

The question is when in the cycle was ur application complete....& when did u get ur interview? the later in the cycle you interview the fewer chances u have on getting in...if u were late last year and on time this year...I definitely think ur chances will improve....😳...good luck 2 u🙂

Why would you want to reuse a personal statement, especially if you haven't done much to improve your application? Sounds like you don't want to do the work.

If you haven't improved your application, you probably won't get in next year either. The schools will ask you what you have done to improve your chances. What are you going to tell them, nothing?

You have to put the work in if you want to get in. Get a job in an ER, nursing home or hospice facility.

And for crying out loud, redo your personal statement.
