Hi y'all,
I'm an undergraduate pre-med student at the univ of michigan entering my junior year. I have almost all my pre-med requirements completed, but I obtained a C+ and a C in Orgo 1 and Physics 1, respectively. But I got a B in Orgo 2 and I'm currently taking Physics 2 at a community college at home. I've yet to take the mcat. I plan to next June. My advisor said if i were to retake these classes at UMich, they would not affect my gpa; they would only show up on my transcript with that new letter grade. My question is, would it be wise to retake these classes and get a higher grade to hopefully prove to med schools that I know the material, or not retake them at all? These grades obviously took a toll on my cumulative and science gpa.
Any kind of advice would be appreciated. Thanks,
Maz
