Reactivity of Group 1 and Group 2 metals with HCl and water

Hey all!

Just wanted to double check on this:

Group 1 metals react with H2O to form metal hydroxides and H2
Group 2 metals react with HCl to form H2

Do they react with the other though (HCl/H2O)?

Group 2 should also form metal hydroxides and H2 gas (I believe). I'm honestly not sure about Group 1 metals, but i'd say group 1 would also form metal chlorides and H2 gas.
