Hey so i could use some advice on what I should use to study for the R.C and the Q.R. At the moment I have chads videos for chemistry, AP biology book, and crack dat pat. I am planing on taking the test this summer around June 15 2012 so its go time for me and i could use advice on how to make a schedule for studying as well. Thanks

get the math destroyer and use the khan academy videos and chad's videos for the QR section. between all of that stuff the QR is a breeze. doing well in the RC section is all about timing - you need to practice reading detailed papers quickly and being able to understand the material. i just used old practice tests for that.

I'm not sure how best to study for RC other than to practice by reading scientific articles and doing the practice sections on kaplan/topscore/achiever.

As for the QR section, math destroyer was the only book I used and needed. The actual DAT seemed to be a bit easier than math destroyer in terms of difficulty so don't be too discouraged if you don't do well on math destroyer at first. However, I can not stress the importance of timing for doing well on QR. Anyone can get most of the QR questions given enough time. You really have to strictly time yourself while practicing so you know how to pace yourself and not run out of time at the end. I literally finished the QR section with a few seconds to spare. Best of luck.

👍 i practiced the math destroyer tests with a timer. it took a couple of tests before i could get even close to finishing a math destroyer test in the time limit (the first test took me almost 2 hours), but eventually i was able to get it all done in time. it really helped because i finished the QR with 8 minutes to spare.
