I am scoring consistent 33-36 out of 50 on Kaplan's practice Reading Comprehension subject tests. So roughly about 70% correct. Is this a terrible score for the DAT, or am I in good enough shape for the RC on the DAT? I feel that 15 wrong on a test is a lot, but is it really for DAT standards? What does a 35 convert to for DAT standards?
Thanks

33 is ~18, 36 is ~19

scroll to reading comp, and divide the number correct you've been getting by 3 in order to estimate.

this is all ballpark because of the types of statistics we're comparing (across types of tests (DAT vs. Kaplan), across multiple reading comp sections (and assuming you don't get piano'd when you take the real test ), et cetera )

I got an Standard Score to Raw Score Conversion Chart from Barrons book.
RC: 31-33 is 18, 34-36 is 19, 37-39 is 20...

Thanks for your feedback and help. Will I be ok for the DAT though? I understand that I am getting about 19-ish on Kaplan Reading, but is this sufficient for the REAL DAT? Do these numbers mean I am ready for the reading comp on the DAT?
Thanks
