I have heard the RC passages on the actual DAT are 15-20 paragraphs long. Is this correct? If so, is it feasible (if you are on the faster side of the reading spectrum) to read through them quickly and then answer the questions? Is their format similar to Crack DAT Reading? #'d paragraphs and stuff?

If I recall correctly, I believe mine were roughly 12 paragraphs long each...much shorter than Kaplans I believe.

with the less paragraphs, did each paragraph have more words?

Not really actually...but learn by Kaplan's stuff and master it, and then you'll nail the real thing. What I did was jack myself up on caffeine in my 15 minute break so that I could REALLY focus on reading.lol

I thought Kaplan's was a lot harder than the real thing...so basically if you can master that, then you'll be good on the reading for sure...at least that's what I thought.

ya, i did all of the kaplan practice tests and got a 21 on CR last year. this year, i didn't practice at all for the reading section and got a 18 🙁 oops!

o, and i took the DATs last week. they were 13-14 paragraphs
