I have been taking the RC tests on TopScore and it seems as though they are really easy. I haven't taken the real DAT, but for those of you who had TopScore and took the real test, do you think that TopScore was a lot easier? I want to see how my scoring would compare to the real thing because I'm not taking that much time on RC. Thanks

If you do good on TopScore RC, you'll do good to great on the actual DAT.

I found TopScore RC to be very challenging. I did not do well on the practice tests (~17), but managed to get a 21 on the real thing.

the RC becomes amazingly easy if you dont waste much time reading the passage, give it a quick skim. When you get to the questions, the right answer comes word for word from the passage probably 5 times out of 6. Skim for the key words and its easy to find. Using this method, I was able to get a 23 on it.

Are you talking about the RC of TopScore can be easy? And you scored a 23 on TopScore or the real DAT? Because I've been scoring high on TopScore, but want to know how it compares to the real thing. I don't think the real test will have questions word for word...

What do you think the difference is? How does your score on TopScore RC relate to the real DAT?

On the three topscore exams, i scored 21, 20, 25 and i got a 23 on the real test. Good luck!

My scores for RC are:
TS1:25
TS2:22
TS3:25
DAT:23

One of the passages on the real DAT was just as easy as TS, one required more time to search for the answers/think about the intentions of the author, the last was a mix. I didn't read the passages in TSand finished with time to spare. I used that time on the real DAT to answer the harder questions.
