Reading glasses

What's up everyone? Just wanted to say thanks for all the tips that I have come across on here as I get ready to take the test in about 3 weeks. So I bought a pair of 2.0x reading glasses like TeleportMassive advised and took a CDP to test them out...got all 15 on the keyholes and angles! I mean this so good it feels like it wouldn't be allowed, but reading glasses are permitted to have in the testing room right? Lemme know whenever you guys get a chance and thanks again for all the help!

its not allowed. http://www.ada.org/sections/educationAndCareers/pdfs/dat_examinee_guide.pdf. page 13 letter L, (magnifying devices.) so if you wear them and then take them off later, they might notice something and call you out on it.

Also I heard cameras tape you while you take the exam, I personally wouldnt take the risk.

Also I heard video cameras tape you while you take the exam, I personally wouldnt get caught cheating fort the PAT section, given the fact its not the most important one and does not affect your AA.

Pays to read the fine print. I have no doubt that people have had there DAT score revoked for doing something like that.

This is a horrible idea. Many people do get away with silly things like this, but I am sure there are those less-fortunate ones who get caught (when they audit the videos) and notice you wearing certain glasses only on certain sections....

If you get caught doing this, I don't know what the exact consequences, but I think it will be alot more severe than just revoking the score and having you retake. They'll probably flag your application for life.

Lol very sneaky, you may get away with it but the consequences don't outweight the benefits, the angle ranking is only 15 questions out of 90, just use the hill or rapid eye technique.

it's true. they have multiple cameras around the room. From what there is at least one camera in the corner of the room, and then a camera at each cubicle. It's like a webcam camera, but it was at an angle and not attached to the screen to distract you. I'm not sure if they also record sound, but they probably do.
