Due to some serious, unforeseen circumstances I really put off doing my secondaries late, with almost all of them being submitted starting late September-November. My parents are pushing me to submit more secondaries to schools because they feel like that they wasted their money submitting a primary to schools I wouldn’t remotely consider (which at the time of submission I did). So far, I’ve received 4 II’s out of the 9 schools I’ve submitted secondaries for on the late side, but I have over 10 secondaries (to quality schools that I could see myself at) I could submit, but imo, the interviews I’ve received are from my top schools I’d actually want to attend. The other schools I’m waiting to hear from as well are those on the top of the list too.

Mainly I’m just paranoid cause even though I have interviews from schools, that doesn’t guarantee an acceptance, which is what I ultimately fear.

So I ask, because my parents are willing to pay, should I just go ahead and submit the rest of my secondaries and see what happens despite them being extremely late? Or should I just take what I have and leave it?

I would not get my hopes of, but If your stats are high enough and you are a strong applicant even if you submit late you still have a chance. Some schools rank application based on stats so again if your stats are high enough you could jump towards the top of the list of apps to be reviewed. I have a friend who submitted her apps all around the December deadline and received several acceptances. The fact that you received 4 II applying so late is a very good sign.

Again though I would not get my hopes up of receiving more interviews.
