Good Evening,

So my heart is in OB and it's really all I see myself doing and being happy as far as careers go. Well judging by the new competitivness of OB I'm slightly worried but still keeping my faith and trust in God.

I took my boards 4 times (comlex) and on the 4th time passed. My step 2 score is high...thanks to the PASS PROGRAM and serious prayer...on the first try. So do I have a chance? On my audition rotations last year all of the programs loved me but I'm afraid that maybe they forgot me. A couple of them wanted me to comeback so they would be able to put the face with the application when it came through. I'm not sure if I can do more rotations being that I'm finish with school. They all wished that I applied and because of not passing boards at the time and dealing with other personal issues I just wasn't that confident in myself for the Match.

Do I have a chance at OB? I really love it...but looking in paper I know I'm not the stellar candidate. What can I do?

I'm in the Baltimore area and would loev to stay here (I have a house and hubby here)or the DC area. I also was at Christiana Healthcare and I LOVE LOVE LOVE the program there.

Why not go ahead and go for it?? I think Christiana is a relatively competitive community program - you might have a tough time there. But what about Univ of MD or Sinai? Neither of those are very competitive...

I'll def be applying to Siani. I spent a month there also and really enjoyed the program and the residents. It's actually my number 1 pick. I just wanted to know if it was anything that I should be doing right now to help my situation. Especially since I hear that alot of the programs don't even look at applicates that have taken the board exams more than once.
