Hey all, I know there are alot of these threads, but I was hoping to get some feedback on if these schools are realistic for me.

My Stats:
UCI Bio Major, Grad. June 2009
3.8 Cum. GPA, 3.84 bio, 3.72 physical sciences
DAT: Bio - 18, GC - 20, OC - 20, QR - 18, RC - 23, PAT - 19, TS - 20, AA - 20

Graduated Cum Laude, Nominated into Phi Beta Kappa, Social chair of Alpha Epsilon Delta (pre-health honors fraternity), volunteer @ free dental clinic, other random community volunteering, dental office work for 1 yr

Here are the schools im interested in, any I should add or take out (20 is alot and is really pricey haha):

University of Southern California (USC) CA
University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) CA
University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry (UOP) CA

University of Connecticut (CONN) CT
Nova Southeastern University (NSU) FL
University of Illinois at Chicago (ILL) IL

University of Pennsylvania (PENN) PA
University of Pittsburgh (PITT) PA
The Maurice H. Kornberg School of Dentistry, Temple University (TEMP) PA

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!👍

These "what are my chances" threads usually come from people who have below average stats, but your GPA is great and your DAT ain't too shabby either. I mean, you probably have a shot at most of them...off-hand, I know UNC is reeeally picky about out of state applicants though!

not on SDN , but OP you are fine- as long as you don't come off as a tool you will get in somewhere.

Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health (AZ) AZ ...No clue (I'm not familiar with the school)
University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) CA ...(You definitely have a chance)
University of Southern California (USC) CA ...(You definitely have a chance if you don't have too many units completed at CC)
University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) CA ...(You MIGHT have a chance)
University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry (UOP) CA ...(I know they really like a high PA score, and yours is somewhat average)
Western University of Health Sciences (WESTU) CA ...(You definitely have a chance).
University of Connecticut (CONN) CT
Nova Southeastern University (NSU) FL
University of Illinois at Chicago (ILL) IL
Boston University Henry M Goldman School of Dental Medicine MA
Tufts University (TUF) MA
University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC) NC
University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) NV ...(You have a chance if you have an early application and/or you're a Nevada resident)
New York University (NYU) NY
Stony Brook University (SUSB) NY
University of Pennsylvania (PENN) PA
University of Pittsburgh (PITT) PA
The Maurice H. Kornberg School of Dentistry, Temple University (TEMP) PA
University of Washington (WASH) WA ...(You almost don't have any chance, unless you're a Washington resident)
Marquette University (MQT) WI

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!👍
Of course, these are all my personal opnions and are by no means representative of the final decisions made by schools. I'm simply stating what I think based on my previous experience with some of these schools and/or what my friends experienced in the previous years.
Good Luck👍

I am UCI alumni too. Your GPA is exceptional. Your DAT score is above average. I do not know some of the schools u will apply. If I were you, I do not I apply UW, SUSB, UNC, and ASDOH (if you do not have 100 hours volunteering). By the way I applied UNC and UW (I will probably get flat rejection too- since my gf loves North Caroline (she has some relatives in there) and one of my best friend lives in Seatle). The other schools look OK to me to apply! Good luck with the rest of the process!

you prob wont get into univ illinois chicago unless you are a illinois resident.

thanks for the replies everyone, and I am a California Resident for the poster that asked btw

you probably won't get into stony brook either. they prefer instate and the class size is tiny.

but don't let me stop you from applying there.
