Does anyone have an idea for how I can get my transcripts ASAP? I have a hold on my student account at my college. I took grad classes and I am trying to fix a financial aid mix-up, but by the time everything is straightened out it may be 3 weeks and I HAVE TO GET my transcripts to AACOMAS and time is slipping. What can I do? I have already explained this to the school, but they are not budging.

Sounds like a tough bind. Maybe you could "temporarily" resolve the finance issues with a credit card and allow your school to refund your money if you are too stressed over it

Otherwise, just relax. Try and be patient, realizing that doors open for people well into the Spring. There is a reason that some schools accept applications as late as February. 👍

Trust that things will work out and focus on the things that you can do something about (your school, work, family, etc...)

I live in Florida and go to a state school. Here, we have a website called FACTS that connects all the public universities and can give students info like transcripts. Check and see if your state has something similar (assuming you are at a public school). Otherwise, my advise would be to contact the school and let them know of your situation and see if they can work with you. They might be more sympathetic than you would think. 🙂

similar thing happened to me; i just used my credit card for the time being and they refunded everything when everything got straightened out...good luck

Go plead your case to the registrar. It might get your transcript released do to special cirumstances. Worst they can do is say no.

Really. Go talk to them.
