hey everyone. i was wondering how much weight will having a really good last two semesters will hold. i'm applying to dental schools this june. this past fall, i had a 3.9 gpa with an A in anatomy and physiology I and i am on my way to having another good semester. so far, it looks like i will have another 3.9 or 4.0 gpa with A's in anatomy and physiology II and microbiology. my gpa isn't the highest (3.3) but with a really strong last two semesters before i apply, will that hold a lot of weight in how strong of an applicant i am? thanks.

Not a lot, just a bit 😀
Because GPA (Grade Point Average) is your efforts you put into undergrad school/s for 4 years. However, they will take that into consideration.
3.9 or 4.0 in those 2 semesters will really raise your GPAs up. Keep up your good work ! 👍

Having a good upward trend is good and so is the fact that your acing your upper level sciences.

HOW MUCH will they effect ur application is.... unknown.

overall will be between 3.3 and 3.4 and science will be between 3.2 and 3.3. i'm taking the DAT in late may or early june and intend on sending everything else in on june 1st
