Hello There, unfortunately, my cycle has not quite panned out as I would have liked but I have done some reflection and would like to try again. Currently, I am on WL at EVMS, UCF, and UTHSC and was previously on WL at EVMS, UCF, UTHSC, and ETSU-Quillen. I have come to accept that my interview skills were most likely what led to the results of my cycle and I will be working hard to improve that for this cycle (suggestions for how to would be most appreciated) as well as I felt my school list could have been improved.

Questions:
1. Have I done enough to justify reapplying?
2. Suggestions on how to improve interview skills would be much appreciated.
3. Feedback on my school list would also be much appreciated.

A little about my app below:

GPA/MCAT:
3.98 cGPA and 3.97 sGPA , used to be 4.0 for both (senior year was rough).
513 (128/126/127/132). made some numbers up but about the same.

Clinical Hours:
250 at RAM clinics as a lead used to be,~150.
200 at VA as CNA, used to be ~140.
50 at local rescue squad giving EMS assistance, used to be 0.
Total: 500 hours.

Shadowing:
lots ~ 300. I know it's a lot and I know I got carried away but I had a unique ability to rotate through about 8 specialties.

Non-clinical volunteering:
150 as a side walker at a local equestrian therapy center, used to be about ~60.
50 as a theatre volunteer, used to be ~50. Older activity that I am not currently pursuing but felt I learned something there.
100 as a volunteer for a sewing group in response to the pandemic.
50-60 hours as a volunteer for Crisis Text Line, used to be about ~0.
Total: 350-360.

Research:
400 in independent project with 2 regional first-author posters and one local first-author oral presentation. Also received award for first place poster.
Used to have 85 hours assisting grad students.
Total: 400 hours.

Work (Non-clinical):
300 hours as freshmen mentor.
300 hours as a tutor.
450 hours as supplemental instruction leader.
total: 1,050 and used to be about 600 hours.

Extracurricular that is meaningful to me:
1,000 hours as speech and debate team member with 2 awards; one awarded in 2020 the other in 2021.

Your DO list is fine. Assuming you are a Tennessee resident your state public schools are where your best chances are. You have several schools on your list that accept few applicants who have no connection to the state or region. For OOS MD schools I suggest these:
TCU-UNT
Tulane
Creighton
St. Louis
Loyola
Medical College Wisconsin
Western Michigan
Oakland Beaumont
Wayne State
Cincinnati
Vermont
Quinnipiac
Hofstra
Einstein
New York Medical College
Albany
Drexel
Temple
Jefferson
Penn State
George Washington
Virginia Commonwealth
Eastern Virginia
Wake Forest
NOVA MD
Florida Atlantic
Florida International
Central Florida
Miami

Great, thank you for your quick response and advice. I should have put that in there earlier but I am a TN resident with a prior connection to Florida and soon to be West Virginia since a family member will be moving there for school.
