I applied this year with a 501 MCAT and a 3.89 GPA. I am still currently on a waitlist, but I need to get my application submitted because I believe a gap year is in order. In 2 of my interviews for the previous application cycle, I received complements on my personal statement. I am confident in it, however I have heard it's best to scrap a personal statement if you are reapplying. Any advice? Side note: not looking forward to retaking the MCAT. any quick study pointers would be cool, too
