I was told to boost my nonclinical experiences and leadership from the 2019-2020 cycle, so items listed in bold are what I’ve focused on during my gap year. I recognize that the current list is too top heavy and would appreciate any help on including more mid-low tier MD schools into my list

cGPA/sGPA: 3.97/3.98

Clinical Experience:
400 hrs spread through inpatient units, emergency department, and ICU

Research Experience:
3000 hrs basic science research assistant (3 projects)- incl 4 poster presentations, a fellowship, senior research thesis, and a pub
500 hrs translational science lab manager, will be about 1600 by December- one pub currently in the works, 3 projects in progress

Shadowing Experience:
140 hrs spread through 5 specialties, incl primary care

Non-clinical volunteering:
60 hrs of engineering outreach at local high school
200 hrs of mentorship/club leadership
400 hrs of K12 tutoring in an underprivileged area, will be about 1000 by December

Other Stuff:
200 hrs engineering design team
Menagerie of scholarships to graduate debt-free
App design as a hobby

Schools:
