Reapplicants beware of AMCAS!!

Hello all of you who had to endure the AMCAS fiasco from last year. I am sure you were very happy to see that AMCAS was nice enough to leave your applications from last year somewhat intact. Make sure you check every field!
As i went to print mine out, i found a big mistake. AMCAS took the liberty to change my mom's job into a professor of a college, and my dad is a health care provider. That is a little funny since my mom hasn't worked a day in her life and my dad can't even take care of himself, never mind someone else! Good luck to all of you! this is OUR year!

Hey, AMCAS informed me that my mom is a bisnessman too!

according to amcas, my mother (who doesn't work at all) is a school teacher.

They have weird classifications for allied health professionals b/c they lump them together....at my Finch interview, the doctor asked me if my dad was a pharmacist, optometrist, and a dentist all at once! <img border="0" alt="[Laughy]" title="" src="graemlins/laughy.gif" /> He thought my dad was superman!

Hey I already submitted and mine says that my dad is a registered nurse!!!! What do I do? I hope that AMCAS wont charge ME for THEIR mistake! Any suggestions about what I should do?!? Thanks!

That is a good question, i suggest you e-mail them and let them know that we have all found this recurrent issue. I am sure they will understand, after all they know how many mistakes they made last year!
I am too wondering if these mistakes were transmitted last year. If so, that information really conflicts with what i wrote in my personal statement! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="eek.gif" />

Yeah, I had the same problem...my dad became a manager or something and my mom a business owner. Luckily I caught the problem before I submitted.
