Reapplication Question

I am reapplying this year. Last year, I was interviewed and accepted to my second choice school; I was flat-out rejected from my top school. I chose to take a year off and reapply to the schools in hopes of getting into my top choice. In my reapplication essay update, should I include that I was accepted to another school and turned it down for another chance at my top choice?
