Reapplying after eligibility period ends

Hello, guys,

I hav got a question - I will not b able to take my Step 1 when my eligibility period ends on Oct 31,2012, got ill , it sucks ...Now my problem is ..... how many days will it take tht i can reapply again and get the new permit...will i hv to wait, till it shows in my OASIS Account, tht "did not take the test / did not schedule " i.e 3 weeks, or will i b able to reapply again the very next day, say 1st November ....i wish to take the exam by 10th November ....

. My credentials are verified already ..

I had to do that too. You wait 2 weeks after your eligibility period ends to reapply- then it was faster then my school said -and actually it all gets completed within like 10 days to get your permit. A lot faster- I thought it would take as long as the last time so I took a break- and regret it now... Moral is keep studying bc it's a fast turn around- contrary to what they tell you. Hope my mistake can help you out! The only reason yours would take longer is due to office closures for the holiday- but that's it!
